Yeah they “tried” all right. They just rarely ever overturned it. One of the few times they did was against the Saints of all teams. And they canned it after a year. Basically a middle finger to anyone complaining about it
Honestly, it’s pretty wild to think so much of many football games come down to the subjective real time analysis of a handful of guys (who do this part time btw) watching portions of a large field with filled lots of players. Not to mention how in 2026, even the NFL doesn’t have more and better camera angles and quality for reviewing plays
It’s also possible they were overlooking Arkansas and ahead to the Bama game

Not so sure about that. Played a weak schedule and have had 2 struggle wins last 2 weeks against unranked teams. Meanwhile Bama has blown out 2 top 20 opponents and lost by 3 to no.1
