So the SEC or the commissioner or any of the member teams have said shite about Ole Miss? Send me a link.

They didn’t have to. It’s already in the rules you fricking retard.

The only reason they’ve spoken out about this issue is they had to literally make up a new rule for it.

quote:

But everyone knows including your retarded arse that the only meeting that has been held by the SEC at all regarding eligibility has been specifically about lsu trying to play nfl players.

Because it’s a brand new rule they had to create following the 5 for 5 bullshite.

quote:

No one gives a frick about your falacious apples to oranges argument you retards are getting from lsu fanboy beat writers like Moscona.

Chambliss is ineligible. So is the kid from Texas. The kid from Tennessee. The kid from Missouri. Just like Wright and Harris.

Explain how it’s different again?
Have we really stopped to think about the long term consequences of this 6th year of eligibility fiasco?

You just KNOW some players are going to sue to receive their 5th, 6th and even 7th years!!!!!

Shut the frick up
quote:

Sauce? I do remember the entire league gathering last week specifically to discuss LSU’s buffoonery.

You need someone to tell you it’s against the rules to play ineligible players?

My god you really are a child.
quote:

Oh now you claim Jaden Daniels?

Do we need to?

It’s an objective fact that Jayden Daniels won the heisman as LSU’s quarterback.

quote:

Your entire fanbase was shitting on him a week ago. You look like clowns to every objective observer.

More melty nonsense.
quote:

The SEC has already said it’s against its rules to play them YOU STUPID MOTHER frickERS.

The SEC has also said it’s against the rules to play players the NCAA has ruled ineligible.

How’s that going for them so far?
quote:

Yes it’s just me and most college football fans.

No one is melting like you. You’re like a child who had his favorite toy taken away.

Temper tantrums everywhere.
quote:

CFP semifinals last year. Heisman candidates this year.

What the frick has lsu done this decade that surpasses what Ole Miss has done? Get gaped by Georgia in the sec championship? Watch Brian Kelly blow out Lane Kiffin?

Lists heisman finalists (preseason) as an accomplishment. Asks what LSU has done this decade.

LSU has an actual heisman winner this decade……

You’re so dumb

You’re so overtly emotional about all things Lane and LSU that it’s actually sad.

Legitimately sad. He’s going to completely break you over the next couple of seasons.
Harris has a better case to be ruled eligible than Wright, but he’s been injured so I don’t know.

Harris signed an unguaranteed contract with no signing bonus. He hasn’t made a single dollar as a pro (other than the per diem which apparently is allowed) and hasn’t stepped foot on the field for any of the camps. Not a single snap.

With with rosters due by Friday… It’s something like a 24 hr window to make that decision.

So all the due diligence has to be done ahead of the ruling.

Which is going to make it that much more hilarious when a bunch of SEC schools sign these kids if they get the TRO.

It will be clear they’ve all been working behind the scenes to line everything up while Kiffin and LSU were taking all of the heat.

Someone feel free to correct my constitutional law understanding cause Im not a lawyer. However this case is being heard in state court. So SEC member schools could just say those players are only eligible in Louisiana and ineligible to play in their states right?

Is Trinidad only playing games in Mississippi?
quote:

Name one school that has signed an NFL Training Camp cut.

No one has. Not LSU. Not anyone.

Yet.

That's a lawyer pushing a sucker into more billable hours.

Same logic doesn’t apply to the 4 players (out of 300+) that LSU has spoken to though?

Weird.
As a Missouri fan, you should be more worried about your own house.

An ineligible player rostered under the protection of a TRO is now trying to sue your school. Talk about messy.

The problem with this and the pandora box it opens and I'm sure what the NCAA/conferences are trying to avoid is continual "interpretations" of the 5 for 5 rule allowing every class up to the 2027 incoming class to continually be ruled "eligible" for a 5th season (meaning 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes all to be retroactively granted 5th year's under their "interpretation" of the rule).

Not going to happen.

Every class after 2022 will have known for at least a year that once they go through the draft process, they’re ineligible to come back.

2022 is the exception because they found out after they were told they were ineligible and HAD to enter the draft, that they were, in fact, eligible.

quote:

That makes your case for immunity to fines from the SEC even worse retard.

No, it doesn’t.

quote:

Where do you practice law? This guy was a corporate attorney for wal mart.

It’s common sense. Again, this is the same attorney who was telling everyone Kiffin would be in prison.
quote:

Or maybe nothing happens and the players can no longer play.

It will be this. Just like Alabama didn’t vacate any basketball wins while playing a former NBA player.

It also won’t just be LSU. Half the league will sign a player if they get the injunction. The SEC isn’t going to vacate wins for half the league.
The “legal expert” who doesn’t even realize LSU isn’t a part of the suit?

Also, this same guy told everyone Kiffin would end up in prison before ever coaching for LSU.

So, yeah.

Does make you wonder why they’re taking all of this so far if they don’t plan to play these guys.

You still think LSU is suing the NCAA/SEC?

Many teams have their hands in the pot.

It will be clear if they are granted their TRO Thursday.

Most of the players will be signed by the end of the day.
