Getting embarrassed because LSU isn’t very good is what’s embarrassing.

Mainieri was great at winning a bunch without titles. I’ll take 2 of 3 if it means sucking every now and then.

80-90 pitches seems to be Evans' limit unless he is in a zone. He wasn't quite there tonight

It’s the lack of guys in the bullpen probably.

No one is stepping up to be the reliable 1st out of the pen guy so they’re trying to stretch Evans.

Moore being hurt only makes it worse.

Have to go get him

I don't know what you are talking about. That two run single was a basic ground ball directly where a 2nd baseman would be playing without the lousy shift. That shift cost LSU two runs and probably the ball game.

It was hit just to the right of the mound. The 2B was playing straight up and deep.

You seem confused.

Stanfield can’t bat in the top 5 spots of the lineup. He’s way too limited. Bat him 6th or 7th to bunt or get a walk/single every now and then

He’s the perfect 2nd leadoff in the 9 hole.

Maybe it’s just me, but their pitcher is getting more leeway on the corners than Evans.
The 2B doesn’t play behind there with no one on first unless it’s a shift bud.

The best learn to pitch around it. Evans hasn’t learned that yet, but I’m sure he will. He’s still pretty young and only in his 2nd year of full time pitching.

He still has some things to work on. When the changeup isn’t working he struggles.
The US Amateur champ (that’s the best Amateur golfer in the country) was +9 through 36 holes.
Yeah these guys need to hang on. If he stretches it back to 5+ going into tomorrow is going to be boring.
Hopefully a couple of guys can get within 3 shots of Rory today. That’s the only way we will have a fun Sunday.

It would be interesting to see how a 10-15 handicapper would do.

Put the average 10 handicap at the back of #9 with a moderately tough middle pin and they may make a 10+.
Unless you’re scratch, no you wouldn’t win unless you’re put in the simplest spot to putt from on each green.

There are spots on these greens that the average 10 handicap would easily 6 or 7 putt from.
The greens being extra firm this year is causing some “bad” pitch shots. I’m liking that.

He slashed 250/350/470 with 16 hrs in 400 ABs as a rookie. Hit 30 HR in his soph season. Quit making shite up

I don’t have to make shite up unlike you guys are for some reason. For starters, he didn’t have have 400 ABs as a rookie. He had 232.

.246/.350/.487
.211/.315/.467
.238/.356/.467

Those are his numbers for his 1st 3 seasons. Again, not great.

DYLAN CREWS struggled in AA & AAA. No need to worry about comparing mlb struggles. He can’t hit in the minors

The kid has had zero continuity. He was rushed through the system to make his MLB debut before being sent back down to work through a swing change.

He has less than 1 full season of MLB at bats AND less than a full season of minor league at bats.
I mean, have you not watched LSU in the recent past? Like last season?
Thursday of a Major and Justin Rose on the first page of the leaderboard. Why does it feel like this happens every time?
Admins, please, ban this fricking idiot.
