This makes sense if he’s set on playing 2 sports. Nebraska is in a position to have to allow that. It’s almost impossible to do at LSU, and Lane isn’t going to give a high school TE the money it would take to land him, and then loan him out to the basketball team. Many before him have tried—as recently as with his fellow TE Trey’Dez. It just doesn’t work.
The good news here is that we already know your position is almost always wrong.

If he's that stupid, see ya dummy, you could have been a star in the Lane offense. Again, if accurate, no big loss. It doesn't matter how many stars he is.
Saying he “could have been a star” then immediately following it up with “no big loss” is hilarious.

He's not flipping to Nebraska.

Green didn't get a crazy pay day to come here and now he's getting no less than 750k this year.
He wants more money than Green. I’ve been watching him play since he was in 7th grade. He’s a game changer.
Having said that, Nebraska just got a commitment from TE Joey Young.

He’s doing the same thing Easton Royal is doing to TX right now. Driving up the negotiations

I don’t understand why people still care about high school recruits.
I’ll admit, I do still get a little excited but the Underwood situation has fixed me of being all in. Not until they’re on campus for me!

As someone who has followed LSU recruiting closely for years, I don’t understand why people still care about high school recruits.
Richard Anderson, Lamar Brown, Duece Geralds are 3 reasons to care.

This is an NIL ploy. If he flips it will be temporary.

OP should probably get the ban hammer.

It worked out for the last TE that went to Nebraska from LSU.

I'm sure he would be good here, but I'm not losing sleep if he decides to flip. Kiffin will have an elite offense regardless.

He’s got bills and handlers to pay, so he needs the biggest check he can cash.

Mat said Lane would rather pay the big bucks to proven veteran players from the portal, than to pay a freshman who's not going make a difference the first year and before his second year he transfer out running with the money. The only freshmen Lane will pay is the special ones who come in ready to contribute, like Lamar Brown, Richard Anderson and Deuce Geralds. So if he wants to go to Nebraska cool, let him sit back and watch Trey'Dez Green become a first team All-American, All-SEC and first round draft pick. After his freshman year he'll come crawling back right after reality slaps him in the face.

I agree with Lane and Billy, why gamble and pay for a Bryce underwood to have them suck. When you can go get proven guys.
As will Wade has said, the culture is winning. You evaluate the proven talent and pay what you value them at and it should produce wins
