There are 2 meetings that are being talked about.
1. The meeting at LSU with AD staff and BK. BK says it was Woody, Verge, Austin, and another deputy director (Cromer, I believe)
2. The meeting at the Gov's Mansion with boosters and apparently a ton of Attorneys. Gordan was at this meeting. He has stated that.

I believe his contract is written to where the buyout doesn't have to be one lump sum 60 days after termination or however they normally do it. As i understand it, his is written to where they could just keep paying him as they have been for the length of the contract.

The weirder thing is this whole "You weren't technically fired" thing. According to BK's suit, Verge was in the termination meeting and Woodward said he was fired without cause. Verge would know the truth.
Is Verge the kind of man that would lie to help LSU? Is that why he was moved into the role so quickly?

He was also in those meeting at the Gov's mansion. The Brand is essentially why they are saying the move was made. If he was in those meetings that talked about a damaged brand, how would the same exact people be ok with all of this playing out so publicly?
