As dumb as they’ve come off so far in all of this, we forget that all these guys in LSU’s corner are attorneys with decades of law practice in this state.

He nearly backed out of the LSU job right before the introductory presser

He decided to retire from Bama when he he still had interviews and staff meetings scheduled for later the same day.

Fontenot’s FB was 95-96 last year iirc. He had a bad outing or 2 at the beginning of the season which set him back. He was solid in his limited appearances towards the back end of conference schedule and postseason.
Gordon on AFR last week pretty much said Landry doesn’t want to pay the buyout
