Jay has never complained about funds until this season.
2022 and 2024 teams sucked and he didn’t say a word.
It got to a point where it’s a glaring discrepancy between LSU and programs we’re competing against for top players, and Jay spoke out.
Apparently, it was an issue, or Verge wouldn’t have addressed it publicly.

I didn’t, I believed we had a talented team and I’m eating crow like everyone else.
All season I’ve seen people post that Jay should keep his mouth shut because LSU baseball is amongst the top schools in funding. It is obvious that is not the case.
