It makes sense to recruit the best of who could help your team day 1 and to stay away from developmental projects. Develop elsewhere and we’ll see them in the portal in a couple of years.

Let him go and when he wants to come tell him to remember this!

As someone who has followed LSU recruiting closely for years, I don’t understand why people still care about high school recruits. As if it wasn’t chaos before, these recruits renegotiate their deals 10 times before signing day, then can leave before the season even starts. This would be the second recruit this week to go on an OV somewhere else, get offered a bigger deal, then call LSU to match or beat it. What’s the point of following that?
One tweets about LSU then flips 5 hours later, the other one was recruiting on campus a week ago. See you in the portal in a year

If he does his IQ is probably below 85. That’s a short term loss for a long term loss. Even if he’s getting a little more $$ on the NIL.

LSU was aware of the visit beforehand. Recruits still take visits. Let’s see what happens if anything. We have had about a dozen players visit that were committed to other schools; we ain’t got nary a one yet. Hope we do but none so far.

If that article was written by their insiders, that says a lot about their program. That's no better than random posts on the Rant.

Great idea. Waste money on a college sport NOBODY WATCHES. Unless i missed the story where college baseball signed a BILLION DOLLAR contract with a TV network.
While we're at it, we should start up a lacrosse program so we can go challenge Johns MOTHERFLUCKING Hopkins for national supremacy in that irrelevant college sport as well.

Just so you know……
LSU has a lacrosse program. The helmets are really cool. Its all walk ons playing.

This makes sense if he’s set on playing 2 sports. Nebraska is in a position to have to allow that. It’s almost impossible to do at LSU, and Lane isn’t going to give a high school TE the money it would take to land him, and then loan him out to the basketball team. Many before him have tried—as recently as with his fellow TE Trey’Dez. It just doesn’t work.

My daughter helped start the women's Lacrosse team when she was at LSU.

I've heard of the club lacrosse team we have. I was talking about starting an actual varsity team with scholarships.

I am. He's just playing the leverage game, as are all the 5*. LSU calling his bluff is a good thing!
Green didn't get a crazy pay day to come here and now he's getting no less than 750k this year.

He has had many opportunities to commit to Nebraska (especially during our staff turnover) and never pulled the trigger. I think he committed to LSU because that’s where he knows he wants to be. No doubt he has relationships with other recruits at Nebraska, so he’s likely having a great time and this Fansided blog is taking that and trying to hype it into existence for clicks.
Everything I’ve read about Hudson doesn’t scream that he’s the type to chase a bag or play games. It’s a good sign that he was upfront with the LSU staff about the visit.
