They did a great job in OOC scheduling overall though because they played SIX neutral court matchups and 2 road games. HUGE RPI boosters...only 4 home OOC games
That's what I'm saying. You always see the top tier teams playing in multiple neutral site locations OOC. As long as yo...

re: The no BS look at the OOC Basketball Schedule for next season - lowhound
CWW said he knows how to manipulate the RPI, he wasn't wrong.
For Division 1 NCAA Men's basketball, the WP factor of the RPI was updated in 2004 to account for differences in home, away, and neutral games. A home win now counts as 0.6 win, while a road win counts as 1.4 wins. Inversely, a ...

re: The no BS look at the OOC Basketball Schedule for next season - lowhound
The OOC schedule you have doesn't include potential high RPI matchups in the Advocare tournament. It's smart scheduling, by playing the highest RPI teams either on the road or neutral sites where wins gain more points and losses cost you less. Yes, our home OOC games are not great, but our home SEC ...

re: SEC road trip for this season? - lowhound
I'm going to A&M this year since they finally moved the game from Thanksgiving Day. Having been to the other 3 of your options, I would vote Auburn or Florida. If you go to Arkansas you'll have to deal with a bunch of a-holes. Being Auburn is going to be an afternoon game and hot as balls, that nar...

LSU Golfers in the US Open - lowhound
Good luck to former and current LSU golfers in the US Open at Shinnecock Hills GC starting tomorrow. Be sure to root for the Tigers while you're watching the tournament on TV. It's a great experience for our golf team members for future competition. Sam Burns is a rookie this year, still working for...

re: Comite river diversion canal project - lowhound
How would it have to be drastically different? I imagine it's a pumping station + check & gate valve into the river? Just add a bypass line with a gate valve so it can be opened to go the other way. Correct me if I'm understating the complexity
The Comite is much higher eleva...
Marepaus dredged to mega depth to create retention will help much more. Gotta displace water with wind and tides and lower end water levels is only fixed with retention.
So you're saying if Lake Maurepas was deeper it would reduce flooding? That makes no sense.
