re: Would the 1999 Bulls four-peated if the core came back?
Posted by HangmanPage1 on 4/26/24 at 2:10 pm
As owner, I would say he was all to blame. He had arguably the greatest player and the greatest coach in NBA history and he allowed his GM to essentially fire/retire them both before the '98 season even started.
Allowed lol? He told Krause to do it, so he would be the bad guy. Dorf wa...

Wasn’t Drexler only there for 95? I’m pretty sure. With just Dream, Bulls beat them in 94. My question was does Drexler even consider Houston if they don’t win in 94....

Jordan/Pippen/Horace Bulls would have been an interesting matchup for the Rockets. They had no one to even contend with Dream. However that was it, I don’t think Dream carries them to the title in 94. Bulls take it. That cause Clyde not to come to Houston and he goes chasing rings elsewhere. Rockets...
re: The worst trade in NFL history
Posted by HangmanPage1 on 4/25/24 at 9:17 pm
While it was stupid at the time, Williams helped the Saints at times transition to some competitive teams and we flipped him eventually. Washington did absolutely jack shite with those picks. It was a stupid trade that ended up not killing the organization....
Williams is going to one hell of a great situation compared to any other first picks like Lawrence, Young etc. He's got Moore, Odunze, Allen on offense guys like Sweat and Johnson on defense. Most loaded situation any first pick has been drafted into.
Has no OLine. Good luck to him...
re: OT DUI experts - "Unprocessed" DUI 6 years ago, now wants license/insurance back

We have become a nation of rules, policies and fines. Laws are irrelevant. Menial civil servants truly run the country.
I have a question on the vehicle breather thing. I always like to think of workarounds to the governments idiocy. What is stopping you from putting it in some other car, or buy...
yet the majority of the collegiate athletes followed the rules
This is how I always respond to people who say this. My dad played at LSU. He was a utility offensive linemen, played sparingly his five years. He got cash and even a job where he would clock in and leave and then come back...
re: Aaron Boone just got ejected for not saying a damn thing

Take away umpires ability to eject people. Have MLB issue fines after the game. But they can’t kick out anyone. We will see if they want to keep their egos after that....
you as travel ball parents and their kids what is more important, getting an offer to a D3 in Arkansas or winning a district championship, the answer is getting the offer. It is all that matters. Sadly winning and losing don't matter either. Parents are crazy.
I get it, and I believe i...

re: Caitlin Clark’s WNBA salary
Posted by HangmanPage1 on 4/17/24 at 4:18 pm
Clark is the outlier, her endorsements will be fine and wait till she sells her own shoe line It's other players that might not have the same value like they did in college
Like Angel. She would have made more to stay in college. I don’t think her game translates yet....
Right now BlueBoxer Jr is in first grade at St Matthew's, which goes up to grade 7. The state is paying ZERO for the education of BlueBoxer Jr. In three years, when Junior is in 4th grade at St Matthews, the state will strt to pay $5K for the education of Junior. This is now $5,000 in new ...
Third, SPED services. Most private schools do not provide SPED services. You will have a rash of lawsuits that say that if a private school accepts public funds, it must meet the same criteria and offer the same services as public schools. This includes the "mild to moderate" SPED students wh...
