re: CFB 27 gameplay discussion - early release today, release date 7/9

It’s crazy how the gaming industry just releases shite they worked on all year and it’s full of bugs.
Even crazier is EA had some of these same problems last year. I’d expect you would test that those problems don’t happen again.
They also appear to have made every punter an absolute beast of a punter. A&Ms punter is punting it 60 - 80 yards.
They did a good job on a lot of the game though.
I just don’t want to start my long term dynasty until they fix the grades so they aren’t going in reverse. Through 4 weeks I’ve noticed there are a bunch of players I’m recruiting that I’m the only offer, so I can see how the long term dynasty ends up with teams full of walk ons.

Hopefully the patch fixes the dynasty playing style grades

I just broke a second 70 plus yard run for a TD with Durham vs the prevent lol
Also Lamar Brown is an animal in our wildcat.
Once again the damn play style is broken in dynasty. You would think after this happened last year they would fix it. I just got locked out of 4 recruits because play style is plummeting despite the fact it shouldn’t be

I was told by Dems that this could never ever happen.
We will move to the yes it happens but it’s not enough to make a difference stage now

I’ve broken multiple 70 plus yard TD runs with Durham. I was able to take it 78 yards to score a TD with no time left in the half while they were in prevent.
Also had a big 60 plus yard break away run with Berry.
The computer likes to make the game end early when you are up big. Clemson spent the entire fourth running accelerated clock while down 37

Passing is starting much like last year, the computer isn’t playing a lot of man to man and they are keeping safeties deep and corners way off the line.
The bubble screens to WRs are lethal right now. The drops have happened but the last few games I’ve been much better on getting my WRs to come down with the ball.
The rpo with the tight end coming across the formation is broken right now as every time the end forces him too far and you can’t make a pass to him.
After a few games I’ve caught the computer a couple of times on deep balls, the most successful was actually using Auburn and being able to hit some deep throws and even a fade in the corner.
I also played a game with South Carolina and punished Kentucky over and over with the shotgun quad formation and Harbor on the other side. If I had numbers on the screen I was throwing that, once they finally put 4 guys over there I would run or wait long enough for the other db to crash in and then hit Harbor before the safety could get to him.
Overall the game has a lot of positives, it’s harder to get off blocks but the D is still getting a lot of pressure. The LSU secondary locks people down but with Carolina people would be wide open.
I like the new pursuit and the open field plays look a lot better. Running looks a lot like last year where if you wait for a hole and then burst you will bust a big gain but if you try to sprint too soon you are going to end up stuffed.

That doesn’t really work though having kids 18-23 in us college soccer would stunt their growth. Those kids are better off in Europe on teams than here playing college soccer.

I don’t disagree about the regression and need to fix the youth system. However I’d point out losing to Turkey was meaningless, we had already won the group. Yes we should have won but we had to sit guys that would have played if we needed a result

It’s called being sarcastic. He is clearly making fun of Scott Jennings trying to get us to believe he talked to the dead turtle.

That’s probably why the system needs to actually be ran by us soccer. In its current form the mls isn’t and won’t make money like that and they get the money from parents of these kids.
Also we for sure have enough athletes in this country that we can dominate soccer even if all tier A athletes stayed in football, basketball and baseball.
The B tier would work just fine, the problem is the tiers for our sports start to seperate late in the life cycle for a soccer player.
I think that is where the better community out reach comes into play with putting smaller fields in our cities and getting more soccer balls in.
It would also be helpful if we had kids playing football in the fall, basketball in winter/early spring and then soccer for spring/summer at a young age.
Then maybe us soccer could poach what would be undrafted free agent talent in the future over to it, you have us soccer with its like 10-15 boarding school academies that have a combination of the best pay to play kids and our poor kids as well.
We could also approach it as Germany and France, but just regionalize it with each section reporting up. The way we would cover our vast real estate difference could be two fold. 1. We focus on the prime areas for talent (we know we have large state out west that don’t have much talent) 2. We just have to have more of them than France and Germany due to our size.

We should deploy both the soccer balls and fields to inner city to get kids playing then, those that have talent go to the new IMG type boarding school academies ran by us soccer.

I just started a dynasty with LSU. Figure might as well play a season and learn stuff while they fix it.
My first impression of it is the recruiting is way more in depth with nil now and hiring staff is interesting.
I can see a lot of customization in dynasty where you could focus resources on developing players and spend less nil or go less development and heavy nil.
I like this new deeper dynasty. From the first looks it looks like a lot of paths to take

I saw a video saying by year 10 like half the teams had walk ons or more and the 4 stars just were going unsigned.
Typical EA to release a game that is a mess.
I will say I do like the more dynamic commentating and having real coaches. I played LSU at ole miss and they were talking about lane and the ole Miss fans

He is pulling what a mayor of a Texas town that voted 3-2 to remove flock did. He got pissed that citizens didn’t like it and try to put a resolution to ban all technology from the town.
Also it’s telling that flock employee that have no problem filming everyone didn’t enjoy a journalist going to their office parking lot and filming them.

Yea I would expect some bigger improvements on updates that will come.
Drags and slants have worked well as well as passing to backs. The run game I’ve busted a few big runs with LSU and NDSU.
I am going to probably start a dynasty today just trying to figure out if I want to go straight to NDSU for their dome or start the first one with a more middle of the road team. I’m curious if the ai will adapt as it appeared to do in the last version where one season I had go to routes that were always open and then the next it would be shut down. I had a season where I hit very few deep balls but worked the flats and then the next it was an inverse they cover the flats and I just went up top.
