Saw it’s opening on Perkins/Highland in the Highland Park Marketplace (same shopping center as Jabby’s).Anybody familiar w/ it? I see they have locations in Gulf Shores, Destin, etc...

Someone was just telling me about this the other day.

Since they'll be the first in town, I imagine they'll do well before others start to copy the concept and open one on every corner. Hopefully for their sake that doesn't happen.

I admittedly don't eat ice cream so my opinion doesn't count, but can a person even eat this sort of monstrosity on their own? Does the family split one or something?

Just a whole slice of cheesecake as a topping, no big deal

Every once in a while, I love a good old fashioned chocolate milkshake. I wouldn't touch one of those. I don't want all that crap on my milkshake any more than I want a hamburger on top of my bloody mary.

I did look at the menu in other states and it seems you can get regular milkshakes, ice cream scoops, cones, and floats. So you aren't forced to get the main menu specialty items.

Although anyone with kids, good luck with that and not receiving a tantrum

At $15 a pint and $20 a quart...I'll stick with the occasional Blue Bell.

I've been to Gulf Shores and the one right outside Biloxi. I know they got in early when the over the top milkshake craze was going on. Used to have 2-3 hour wait times when they opened in Gulf Shores. It still is good and fun for kids or maybe a date night snack. But price is pretty high.

The monthly specials are really intense.

LOVE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES

Peppermint Moosetracks ice cream in a vanilla iced jar rolled in Valentine sprinkles. Topped with red striped whipped cream, pink, red and purple marshmallow cream drizzle, Twix, Snickers, Almond Joy candy bars.

THE YARDI GRAS

Graham Central Station ice cream with purple, green, & yellow marshmallow cream drizzle dipped in green marshmallow cream and Mardi Gras Sprinkles. Topped with whipped cream, sprinkles and a slice of King Cake.

I'd eat/drink the shite out of those.

I'd be absolutely miserable afterwards, but I'd enjoy it for a little while.

It is pretty funny. You can tell these are topped with pre-made things like Chips Ahoy and Cookie Crisp cereal, plus a bunch of whipped cream, and they're getting $15 for it.

I guess I gotta hand it to them.. they're making $$$ off Instagram girls and kids who won't accept a regular scoop.

Mr. Milkshake has a food truck & has been operating for at least a year
They are getting ready to open a store front across from Bass Pro

I keep missing them but they are supposed to be back in Central in 2 weeks & we are planning on trying them
My parents have had it & it took my mom 2 days to finish hers

One of the May flavors is a coffee ice cream with a donut on top
