Yankees need to make him work and put up some hits this second time through. Severino looked good in the dugout after a rough 2nd. Hopefully he comes out strong in the 3rd...

So according the the announcers the Astros in order to have the roof had to agree to certain conditions such as having it open when the temp/humidity is low. Also, MLB dictates in the post season if open or closed...

Just got back from DC last month....
- tickets to get to the top of the Washington Monument need to be reserved online unless you want to arrive at 8 a.m. to try and get them.
- walking from Capitol Hill to Jefferson Monument was a nice walk and fantastic weather
- the Natural Science Museu...

Yankees started solid and Donaldson/Carpenter took them out of every rally. The Donaldson strikeout and some favorable strike calls put Verlander into a groove after what looked like a rough start.
Hopefully Yankees tonight see Donaldson on the bench with Cabrera in the field along with Peraza....
