yeah it wasn’t a good year. i’m just glad we hired a good football coach and have won a couple CWS since 2020

Why don't High Schools have classes regarding the legal & financial impact of marriage ?

fricking what?

It’s like people saying why don’t we teach kids about taxes.

we can barely teach them basic math and how to read. The Tax code is complicated.

Also, the legal and financial implications of marriage vary greatly couple to couple.
Dawson’s numbers vs some of the better teams on their schedule

Texas (2 games) 1/7 1BB 4 RBI HR 1 K
A&M (2 games) 3/9 1 BB 1 R 3 K 1 2b

Troy (3 games) 6/12 1 BB 2 R 5 RBI 1k 1 HR 1

USM (3 games) 5/13 1 BB 4k 2 RBI

CCU (3 games) 2/9 4bb 2 RBI 4k 1B

We are pursuing other infielders. But they won't be primary shortstops.

fair enough but i don’t think anyone would mind 3 shortstops again.

We have other needs to the point where we're not going to pay two shortstops. And we're not going to pay one of the top 3-4 portal shortstops to come in and not play shortstop

I wouldn’t mind another infielder.

3rd base is far from locked up and relying on guys to make a jump year 2 is sorta what got us where we are.

I just don’t get why anyone would go to this. Sure he’s a funny guy might be a good musician but still why? Explain to me.

Weird Al kicks arse. And he’s a showman. Costume Changes the world last time I saw him (it was 20 years ago and it was my first concert)
Haarland out here looking like Viggo from Ghostbusters II

You would have to seed the entire field in case you didnt have 8 1 seed winners from the regionals

you could seed the unseeded teams once they reach the supers. it’s all arbitrary anyway.
That outing was 4.1 innings

He had 6 good inning vs Little Rock and 6 good ones against Tennessee that year (well 5 good ones after he stopped tipping pitches)

I dont think he’s incapable of going 6 innings, but can he consistently go 6-7-8 to protect the bullpen?

if we can add Hood or Suchy or both…
To be fare, Chase Shores made good money.

He absolutely will get the chance to start, but if he isn’t killing it I coild see him ending up on the pen, because this years performance isn’t getting him first round money if he does it next year.

I think we should go after at least 1 sure starter and a second guy with experience.

I think it will help some, schmidt naturally needs to make one more decent leap, i expect him to. Evans im unsure if itll happen, but thats why i want another option. Moore i think will be fine.

My concern about evans isn’t his stuff but if he’ll ever really have endurance necissary to be a consistent starter.

Even in his best long outing he looks like he is laboring after like the 4th inning/60 pitches. Clearly the results diminished as well.

Is he more of a Chase Shores?

Wouldn’t be made if he could give us 3-4 inning across 2 games in a weekend as a high leverage reliever.

Summer Rental was a beach vacation tradition for my family growing up.

I keep thinking about how we cut Brady Kehlenbrink loose from our 2024 recruiting class and then signed Cooper Williams late in the process to add another lefty.

Yikes.

I didnt know that. I’ve been looking at him and just wondering how the frick he is at Missouri
What’s the cut off?

Why does Rutgers count for NYC but not any of the florida schools for Tampa or Ohio State for Cleveland?

I may just be weirdly hyperfocusing on something here because “clues” but when Rhys first comes in and sees his son sitting there he says “You were in the basement?” (Or something like that) and seemed genuinely freaked out. The son then said he was in his bedroom.

Chekhov’s guns all go off in this show.

We are definitely gonna find out what’s in the basement.
it’s insane how good but not great FSU has been.

probably just putting nothing in front or around him and being a complete nowhere.

She is easily the funniest part of the show. Almost every single thing she says or does is subtle, but at the same time is laugh out loud funny.

I think “you had your reservations!?!” is one of the most iconic lines in the show so far.

I also cracked up when Robert after spending like 1.5 hours of screen time speaking not just in a 1700s dialect but also a very somber and intense manner tells tom “frick you!”
Obsesssion kicking its butt is nothing new.

all we have in theatres now are Family
movies, big action block busters and indie horror movies

Everything else is few and far between.
