Fyi Bioadvanced has a new granular product that has the same chemical as Specticle. I'm going to give it a try.

Thats great news. I wonder how it prices compared to the specticle flo. I've been using my $400 bottle for a few years and have at least one more application out of it. (roughly 15k feet of yard to cover)

It's interesting that they always seem to be dog cussing people. You never hear of people with Tourrette's randomly shouting how much they love someone.

I think it's only 1 in 10 who have that blurt out bad shite flavor. It sounds like it triggers the part of the brain that just says the worst shite at the worst times. If the word is heard, and there's a bad time to say it, that's when the brain says "say that shite now." It sounds like it's beyond a lack of filter.

We all know very bad things we COULD say, even if that isn't our feelings, and we don't say them. Their brain blurts that out

The multi-millionare star is the real victim here. He heard a word he's said thousands of times himself from someone with a disease that has likely made his life living hell. But Foxx is the victim, don't forget it.

I’ve built a finished office with minisplit ac, and an un-elecrtified mower shed both from online plans. Both visible in this picture

I have a few that are doing quite well, 4-5 years old at this point. They also grow them at christmas tree farms in the state.

Looks like an Arizona Cypress. Blue Ice and Carolina Sapphire are two commonly available varieties, but they do tend to shift blue in color. I'm sure there are many more cultivators that are green. Hard to tell from the lighting, but it may be blue, just not very pronounced.

I look forward to that neighborhood New Year bonfire down at the park

So the plat map with that quantity of lots shown in the RM section is wrong?
As I understand it, the traffic is failing along 44. The rules on the traffic impact analysis say you have to mitigate up to a D grade at the tested intersections

Watching the video they seem to say the parish approved moving forward since it’s already Fs and Es. they didn’t cause the failing gridlock so they should be allowed to build 115 more houses since they couldn’t possibly get it up to passing D grades.

The problem with that interpretation is every developer would just target building in the worst traffic areas since they could totally ignore traffic impact studies.

re: Tool Rosetta Stoned

Rosetta Stoned is the retelling of a trip Bill Manspeaker (Green Jello / friend of the band) told them. They thought it was funny and made the song as a humorous retelling.

They’re into expanding your mind but not really open drug proponents (at least not outside of maybe earlier youthful references).

Al Jourgensen of Ministry claims early on he spiked a bottle of booze on tour with some hallucinogenic drug and their music evolved. I think the band mostly dismissed the story.

Unregulated pricing would provide enough incentive to gas stations to do everything they can to have more gas brought in. Buyers will certainly pay more, but at least they will have the option to buy gas. As power is restored to more homes and more gas stations reopen prices would fall and return to normal.

Same for ice, water, bread etc. it becomes profitable for people to truck in loads of needed supplies vs artificially low prices that simply deplete supplies. We’re all guilty of buying up more than we need of these limited items when we find them not knowing when we might get more.

Higher prices slow impulse purchasing and increase outside supply coming in, then prices start coming down to normal

I've had one of the APEC systems for about 5 years and had no issues.

this one

That's pretty much the one I have had for 10+ years. Filters on mine are cheap to replace. I've had a pressure tank or 2 fail, but those were like $35 on amazon and easy to swap.

I've got a Gravely and it has the heavy foot lever and big dial to set the hight. Just passing it along to rule that out for you.

It's never been an issue, mine stays mostly the same cut height unless I'm parking it or going over a transition from back yard to front.

the point the biologists are making is that Chinese tallow is only an problem without its natural predators present in the system…the moth and beetle they are talking about both evolved alongside tallow in its native habitat, and they keep populations in check. Tallow likewise evolved multiple aggressive reproductive tools to keep up with the predators…balance. The ecosystem here cannot tolerate unchecked tallow spread, there’s nothing stopping it. Its natural predators would in theory keep the spread in check, not eradicate it

It seems like every attempt to fix a problem like this turns out like the nutria. We bring them in , in part, to fix the invasive water hyacinth introduction. I’m likely under informed about successful such attempts , it just seems ripe for unintended consequences. “We never realized the beetles would also eat x, y, z and more…oops”
Why do we keep thinking releasing additional non-native things is ever a fix? We have the best honey here. Leave well enough alone
