re: I have a couple of Django questions - moontigr
There's also a big chunk that was left out, what I refer to as the "Scotty Harmony" scene. In the original screenplay, Broomhilda was purchased by a rich plantation owner as a gift for his son Scotty, who was mentally challenged. Broomhilda kept Scotty happy (yes, even sexually) and in return, she w...

re: Willie's doesn't need my patronage - moontigr
Yeah, I've never really understood the hype for it. I had gone a couple times for lunch and their burgers and poboys were good, but went back for their boiled crawfish and they were just plain terrible, some of the dirtiest grittiest crawfish I've ever had. When I asked if they purged them, the resp...

re: Update on: The Whitakers - Inbred family in West Virginia - moontigr
West Virginia is actually one of the prettiest states I've been to, but there are some really, really backwoods poverty-filled areas with a lot of drug use. If you've never seen The Wild Wonderful Whites of West Virginia it gives a pretty straightforward look at the types I'm referring to....

re: Do you have a famous person’s phone number? - moontigr
I guess he wasn't really all that famous, but I had Stu Hart's number back in the day. I called him to do an interview, and he sounded just like how wrestlers imitate him: "Eh... back in my day... eh..." I still remember his dogs barking in the background and Stu telling them, "Shut up you little ba...

re: Is Saw the greatest horror franchise? What’s your favorite? - moontigr
I don’t care for the Saw stuff; it’s too over the top for me. I’m not a big fan of the Conjuring stuff, either, Final Destination, or Paranormal Activity. Probably Nightmare on Elm Street/Friday the 13th would be my favorite franchise, even though they’re pretty cheesy. ...

re: Updated- One dead at Tiki tubing, confirmed drowning victim - moontigr
I remember when I first moved down here some neighborhood utes took me to the Amite. At the time it was shallow enough to walk from one side to the other. They told me that once you went on the other side, you were no longer in EBR, but in Livingston. I was NOT a strong swimmer but at the time I rea...
