DeBoer is a really good coach.

I just do not know about that fit at Bama.

Good hire but a ton of question marks compared to other candidates

was any hire not going to be underwhelming for Bama? To replace Nick Saban is not exactly easy

From a scheme sense thats the best hire they could have made. The question will be recruiting and dealing with expectations.

You're fricking insane. It's a grand slam hire.

DeBoer had emerged as the Crimson Tide's top target before three other possible candidates, Oregon's Dan Lanning, Florida State's Mike Norvell and Texas' Steve Sarkisian, withdrew from the search and affirmed their commitments to their current schools over the past two days.

Who wouldn't be relative to Saban?

The guy took over a Washington program that had fallen off and immediately went 25-3 with an appearance in the National Championship game. If he is, in fact, the hire, that's probably the best Alabama could have reasonably hoped for.

you are right. Following Saban will be no easy task for any coach. Anyone. That's like following Bear Bryant. Just not easy

wtf? Are there two different national championships?

Which one is worth more, the national championship or the recruiting ranking? This is such an asinine talking point from you people

If he made it through the regular season and then the CCG, then semifinals undefeated, who gives a frick what his recruiting class is ranked???
