Exactly it’s a dumb trade that hopefully worked out. It’s looking less absurd but it’s still bad. If you loved queen that much to give up next years pick and also the Indy pick then just draft him at 7. It is what it is and I love watching both of these guys play.

I don’t think trading Zion for expirings is a bad idea. That 40 extra million in cap space can help with more deals to take on other teams players they want to get rid of and that would require them to give us first round picks as well. That is something that is long term thinking.

If you’re able to get a couple firsts or a solid shooter for him id do it. He’s making 42 million next year. Is that worth a 6th man player on a play-in team who can’t stay healthy?

Regardless what his value will be by February, I’d push hard to make the move

idk how true this is. Even the beginning of this season in a year Willie knew he had to be better or else, we still looked the exact same offensively. So BI complains about Borregos offense and also complains about how slow we are and how difficult the shots we generate under Willie. I just don’t buy it.

Is it just a rumor about BI hating Borrego as offense or did he flat out say it? Because I’ve seen post season interviews with BI where he pretty much says Willie’s offense is hell.

Wait are we all not an agreement that Zion should go? Does it really take just a handful of games of winning for some of you to be like “you know what let’s run it back for the 7th time and maybe it’ll be different”.
