Alabama hired a coach who has been to the playoff and won a game.

There wasn’t a lot of those to choose from. It’s pretty much that simple. And he’s known to be a good coach.

Everyone was a risk. This one is no different.

One of the best coaches in the game although I’ve wondered how he would do at a truly elite gig like bama

Seems like a kinda boring dude but im sure he’s different inside the walls

I remember watching a documentary/ inside look of when Spurrier did this after he retired at South Carolina. Muschamp did not seem to enjoy when he'd keep popping into his meetings and derailing them.

Going from the Pac 12 to the SEC is going to be a serious shock to his system. Like going from the minors to the big league and having to get a hit off of Mariano in the 9th inning to win the game. Good luck with that.
