It’s pretty funny that both franchises suck because of ownership but each are at opposite ends of the spectrum. The kings owner is too involved and has his hands in everything including making the GM make awful trades or draft players that he likes. The Pels have an owner that could not give less of shite about the team and refuses to invest the requisite money required to be good

Mathurin is not good. All he does is score at OK efficiency. He doesn’t defend, he doesn’t pass, he rebounds only OK. He’s a completely empty calorie player.

Would you trade Poole/Hawkins for MPJ, assuming it might take a 1st or 2 to get him, and you have to give him a large extension, likely 4/$200M? If you wanted a high volume efficient 3P shooter, there aren't many better than him in that role. I personally don't care for him, and wouldn't want to pay him that much. He's a low IQ player who isn't really a good defender or rebounder despite having the size and ability to be elite at both. I'd trade Zion straight up for him in a heartbeat.
