Yeah I think prison justice is overstated. People like the idea of gallant inmates protecting children. Plus this guy has already been in prison. He was already serving a 60 yr sentence.

Unfortunately, he would be charged with at least manslaughter, and it wouldn't be the judge that makes the call, it would be the DA. It's for the best, really. Nassar deserves death and more, but letting that sort of thing be carried out via vigilantism is too dangerous a slippery slope.
