Should have just let him be on the team this year and get some experience if so, I know he’s young but half these guys suck

If he is as good as some think, he's going to have tons of European experience four years from now.

He might look like an ogre, but he's recognizable. With guys like Messi playing elite at this age, the sport has never had this many elite superstars at the same time.

USMNT's performances only met expectations, which feels like some meat was left on the bone considering everything that was in our favor.

They exceeded expectations set back in March when most of us thought this team was doomed. On a macro level, getting BTFO in the R16 for the millionth time on home soil in a tournament we've been anticipating for more than a decade, big disappointment.
We were all holding our breath waiting for our GK play to bite us in the arse this tournament.
The salt is going to be real. We better beat Belgium now.
I bit the bullet and dropped $1300 for two tickets to Dr Congo-Uzbekistan in Atlanta. I was floored at the sold out stadium and atmosphere for what in paper had to be one of the bottom three matches in the tournament. This WC is a massive success story.

I was all for VAR for to reverse the obvious, with England-Germany 2010 in mind. We've gone too far however. Chips, graphs, a controversial game changing review every third game it seems, it's all too much.
You ever wonder why an offensive player just doesn't hang out next to the goal the entire game?
Carli and Clint clowning on Jesse
Sitting three rows off the pitch, Mercedes Benz is 95% capacity for Uzbekistan-DR Congo. Great atmosphere.
I can't think of 2010 without thinking of Diego Forlan balling out.
Didn't get to post last night, just want to say boy is Pepi disappointing. Thank God Balogon chose us.
I think I know this woman . Post more so I can verify.
Seriously considering dropping money on two tickets for the Atlanta R32 game this morning before England wins and makes it official. My wife is actually encouraging it as she has caught World Cup fever. $2k get in right now, I haven't been studying tickets enough to know if there will be a drop off prior to kick.

The elite players could be spread a little more evenly and in prime weekend TV slots. 3 of the biggest stars are playing on a Monday at 12 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm. Norway and France are playing on a weekday afternoon. US did as well. Also it seems like there's some weather concerns tonight in the northeast for the France and Norway games, not that that can be helped.

Someone correct me, but I'm pretty sure dates and times were already selected for the matches prior to the draw.

I give it 12 years before our next cup. The money is too good.
Anyone notice that the graphic for the break is inconsistent , with "hydration break" and "match break" both appearing. I'm guessing if the temperature is above a certain degree it's a hydration break, while if it's below it's a match break? Weird.
First found the site in 07 when a message board buddy told me how funny this place is when LSU loses. Then started lurking hardcore during the Cam Newton saga. Finally had to correct some dumbass about something during the 2014 season.
Japan would be a hell of a match and would kick the hype into overdrive if we beat them in the R32.

No way he'd be president today had he won re-election, right?
