I was rooting for us to get doubled up so hard that night. What else was there to cheer for other than setting a record that shows were the worst of the worst in unfathomably embarrassing fashion.

These playoffs have been amazing in general so far.

If the NBA could fix its regular season, it might regain some steam again.

So they found a way out of ejecting him.

Those 3 triples from Lebron were absolutely disgusting.

Luka looks like he saved all his energy for these last 6 minutes.

Playing Luka this much is going to cost the Lakers this game. He’s killing them out there.

Jeez, dude. I didn’t think I was being that harsh.

Wasn’t necessarily aimed at you. The comment about star power is odd to me when a 4 year AEW castoff is walking around WWE as champion.

There were literally people aggressively talking shite on AEW on the way in to the arena to the people that looked excited. That’s what we’re dealing with here.

This is music to my ears that theres some steam for him to not be HC next year.

My youngest couldn’t hang and we left probably around the middle of the Collision taping.

AEW PPV crowds tire at a 4 hour show. I couldn’t hate on those that left early on a Wednesday. It was a lot to ask of the crowd to do Collision there too. As a wrestling fan, it was fun to get 2 bonus hours of actual stars wrestling, but I’d be shocked if they did that again. Half the crowd was gone and the rest were dead for a great FTR/Undisputed Era match.

Assuming you were there live, were there lots of empty seats to begin with?

AEW is so lacking in star power, I can’t imagine making the effort to attend this.

They had a corner of the arena chunked off basically. Honestly, only a slight uptick in attendance from last time. Better show, more engaged crowd,

Idk why wrestling fans want AEW to fail so much. It’s so much better for the wrestling business when the wrestlers actually get paid and have to compete with each other. Don’t worry. What do you think will happen if they go under? Wrestling will suffer. You can tell it matters to the wrestlers, and they know it. It should be supported.

They’re never going to catch WWE. Ever. People should be hoping they stay relevant enough to push WWE so we don’t go back to Cena Sucks level content as the only wrestling out there.

I’ve been watching current WWE. Last night was a blast, people went home happy. Quit hating so much. Damn.
There was a Fire Willie chant at the AEW show when a guy came out and roasted us for having Collision playoff palooza in New Orleans.
That angle to start the show flopped hard but it was off to the races afterwards. Young Bucks rolled back the clock and went for it tonight. Their match with Mike Bailey/Kevin Knight was fantastic.

Great crowd compared to last time. Our card was infinitely better.

That’s too much to ask the crowd to handle Collision too. Half the people were gone by the end. 4 hours of TV wrestling is a lot.

By telling him to let his OC run the offense like he was brought in to do? The few times Borrego got to coach the team they looked different. I think BI coincidentally might have been out too, still the difference was notable.

Alright that’s fair. But man, I’d almost rather Willie burn out the first 10 games  cause then we’re gonna be in the next Mike Malone/david finch situation with Borrego. He’ll move on and be light years better than CWG who will digress without him.
That’s almost fair, except I’ve seen nothing from an X’s and O’s or game management perspective that would leave me with any faith in Little Monty. He gets outcoached and outadjusted regularly. How is Dumars supposed to fix him being in way over his head? You can almost see the game moving too fast for him on the sidelines.
I’m just praying Dumars is saying “fine Gayle” but privately he knows he’s got Borrego waiting in the wings to coach after Little Monty flops again to start the year.

We’re f*cked,
David Griffin was the only voice of reason in the room and this entire board wanted him gone
TY at the end of games is a treat to watch if nothing else.
