My friend had the idea to just sit Embiid for the entire regular season. As crazy as it sounds, it’s kind of genius. Embiid is healthy for the playoffs with less mileage. If I’m an away team ticket holder, I’d rather watch the Maxey/Edgecombe/Brown show than them feed Embiid in the post.

I have a hard time believing Boston prefers this package to a Murray/Herb/2 1sts package.

Fears/brown/murphy/zion/queen would have been wild to see.

If they can get Lamelo to be a pass first PG, this could be interesting. Hard to tell what his game could be on a team with coaching/leadership with him in CHA with a bunch of other chuckers and low IQ players.

Zion’s in game jumpers are nearly practice shots with the space he’s given. This needs to translate. If they have to guard him on the perimeter, he turns into a completely different player.

6 threes on 15.3 attempts a game from those 3. That’s not low volume and anything hovering around 40% is very good. And that’s ignoring Bobby Portis’ 2nd in NBA 45%. Throw his in there and it’s 8 on 19.7, which gets you above 40%…

There are flaws in ball handling, play making, and scoring depth, but saying they can’t shoot is not one of them.

Herro is not a playoff basketball player. He’s soft and he hasn’t played well in a postseason since his rookie year.

Ware has a chance to be really good. He had flashes of dominance in year 2 and shot 40% from 3. Needs to condition in the offseason though. Dude gassed out if asked to play minutes.

So trading TM3 (our biggest asset who should get us a huge haul) for 2 DMV guys and ignoring the value. This is the darkest era of Pels management.
