I hope the Oregon OF Laya does not wind up at Georgia.
Caraway's idea of sliding into 2nd base is standing up. :lol: I forgot what team that was against, but I was over that guy as a player after that. I'm not Jomboy lip reading, but the camera went to JJ in the dugout as he turned to his assistant coach and said WTF was that with his arms out away from his body.

If not LSU just glade it wasn't A&M. Lane is not going to pay a freshman to sit. He would not have played next year.

I was hoping for Laya. I saw film on him and was impressed. Also, I believe Laya has 2 years left for college.
I heard Blair is a cancer in the locker room (rumor). I'm sure Jay has done his research on the kid if he winds up here.

Alex Blair 6'6" OF from Oklahoma entering the portal.
He was a complete douche during our series with Oklahoma. He stood out for it because he was literally the only one acting the way he was.
Their run essentially started when they benched him, and there are rumors he wasn't welcome back anyway because he's a locker room issue.
He also struck out over 40% of the time in the SEC.
I hope we stay away.

OU may have a few key veteran players to replace. Jaxon Willits (Jr., INF), Deiten Lachance (Jr., C), Dayton Tockey (Sr., INF), Trey Gambill (Sr., OF although the pitching staff should be solid.
I hope Angel Laya pops for the good guys.

I just read that the Rockies signed Parker Coddou out of independent ball. He’s the shortstop from Nicholls that had the best defensive game in history against LSU a few years ago.

I watched that game, that kid played out of his mind as if his life depended on him making plays. I was cursing the frick out of him at the time. There's no way to explain the plays he made without watching the highlights. I wish him well and will be rooting for him to do well, but that night it was like Are you shitting me? WTF, how did he get to that ball?
