Well, I guess you can wait six months after an event has occurred and then create narrative supporting your view of things while trying to sell it as a pre-event Eureka moment.

Let me see.......what if I write an article stating how various folks pre2020 election stated Biden was a feeble old man that would be a mere figurehead as nefarious shadow figures would actually run the country. Imagine that, it all was true.

Frig' Gabbard. She used her position to promote her ambition.

BBONDS25 assured me that no one denies these stories by saying "lol WSJ fake news!" I must've imagined the 3 pages of this thread doing exactly that

Sounds exactly as I would expect

There has been concern over the SOH for decades which has kept attacks at bay.

It is abundantly clear that trump made a mis step here from what he set out to do.

Whatever outcome that we achieve, it was not part of the original plan.

The dude was like 98 years old. This was always going to happen.

And Trump didn’t want to punt the problem to someone else after seeing how Obama and Biden handled them.

I have no problem with starting it. Just don’t like the spouts of bluster we aren’t backing up. That’s a problem.

Though he likely will never admit it publicly, I bet Trump regrets that truth social post telling Iran that there would be hell to pay if they killed protesters and that we would help them if it happened.

That needlessly backed Trump into a corner.

The only people stupid enough to buy what Netanyahu was pushing was Trump and Hegseth. Vance, Rubio, and even Gabbard knew that the Iran action was going to be a mess.

Netanyahu has looked for a US president stupid enough to do Israeli dirty work in Iran for decades and he found one in Trump. All it took was telling Trump how wonderful and great he is.

Kegseth is a joke. He's a scammer...a fox news personality not a leader of men and women. What a mess. Yuge mistake.

Gabbard is the ultimate promoter of herself. She wants to be POTUS and will do whatever it takes to get there. She is the Jon Ossof of the GOP!!

That is assuming the article is half way factual. I have my doubts.

Netanyahu has been trying to get America at war with Iran for the last 40 years. You are right, Trump was the only one dumb enough to do it. Even Biden wouldn’t.

Just pointing out an author of this wrote a book after Trump's first term that orange man is bad.

It's impossible for me to not think they are writing these from their own biased point of view and it doesn't matter if its completely accurate. Just trust our sources and that we didn't telephone it.

Exactly, doesn’t the military have a $1T budget and over 1.3 Million active soldiers. If you want war, then get to warring—troops on the ground. Quit pussyfooting around.
I thought it was a bad idea, but the powers in charge want a sanitized war.

Are we acting like Trump recieved these glaringly obvious projections and said "Nah, I dont believe you."?

We knew they would attempt to disrupt shipping. We knew they would probably launch strikes against their neighbors. We knew that striking so many targets with missles and bombs would begin to deplete inventory. These aren't exactly earth shattering insights lol

Agreed, if we were this ill prepared then maybe it’s a good thing we find out now.
