Everyone who has been to San Francisco knows this is a lie.
I know what is not a lie. I have been to San Fran and it was not what Fox News shows. Yes, go to the Tenderloin district and you will see the homeless, but most parts I visited were nice and clean, unlike downtown Denver a few years back that was trash strewn and full of homeless.

Was in NYC two weeks ago. Same as it ever was. About to be back there at the end of the month. Your friend must be a master of hyperbole.
I spend some time there-see homeless people- but in a city of 8M- it is all relative. It is a big, vibrant city.
I also watch Fox News-went to San Francisco- damn clean city and did not see any homeless people-could it be Fox sensationalizes it

Oh Paul, lots of downvotes, but Bluebell relies more on added sugar to flavor. Lots of other better ice cream like Ben or Tillamook. People rather sweet and artificial flavor than creamy and natural.

What does "real boudin" mean?
Would you call a gumbo without roux real gumbo?
re: Have y’all heard the term “cootermogging”, yet?
Posted by LeGrosChat on 8/2/26 at 8:36 am to finchmeister08
Cooters" is local Louisiana slang for freshwater turtles, but "cooter mogging" is not a standard or widely recognized slang term. It likely combines the local word cooter with mogging, an internet slang term meaning to effortlessly outshine, outclass, or dominate someone else in physical appearance or presence.
So, is she a Louisiana girl? Kind of could be with the accent.

The small meat markets that don’t mass produce it like Billy’s and many others.

On a recent four day stay in NYC, I only saw 3 1/2 Trannies. I say 1/2 because that person may really been a very slender woman that was androgynous. In a city of 10 Million I realized how deranged the left is to make such edicts.
It is lack of common sense and truly an emotionally, immature decision to allow the trannies that are 0001% of your membership. Why create a mountain for your organization and lose focus of your mission.

Another useless war. By got dammit, if you go to war, send in troops. It is war, people get killed and maimed. We have over one million soldiers. What is the objective ? Maybe quit listening to the warmongers in the CIA and military. Or Israel. Didn’t we learn in Iraq- they told us the Iraqis would be dancing in the streets oncevSaddam was gone.

Can you give us some context? I have no clue what weather event you are referring to, or what particular weathermen or station?
Quite low information post?
I know all about the 20-30 inches of rain.

re: Why did 47 cave on this war with Iran?
Posted by LeGrosChat on 6/17/26 at 9:35 pm to sidewalkside
Other than WW2, all the other wars have basically been failures. Why not focus on fixing Social Security and Medicare or the 100’s of other domestic issues. If it is war, then go to war with ground troops. We have a huge military just to sit home? The object of
War is to win and defeat the enemy and subject them to your objectives.

re: Coffee maker recommendations
Posted by LeGrosChat on 6/10/26 at 8:31 pm to SouthlakeTiger
Cuisinart with the grinder on top. Inexpensive, about $99. Set it up at night and the grinding in morning is my alarm. I wake to the smell of fresh coffee. As said before, quality beans. The cuisinart lets you adjust grinding strength and light, medium or dark roast.

Correct- ever since WWII we haven’t won any wars or conflicts. And, for what? Plus, the whole idea of we can’t send in ground troops is just comical. It is war and the objective is to destroy the enemy. In the first Gulf War, Bush 1 pulled troops and didn’t continue to get Saddam because he thought we had did enough damage. Meanwhile, China continues to build stuff. How many wars have they fought in the 60-80 years. We are not getting the true story of this Iran crap.

I do know that after building home made crawfish boiler rigs that run off of natural gas and converting other things from propane, NG is very volume dependent
I have NG line with a quick connect on my back patio and would love to use it for crawfish boiling, but was told the pressure would be too low.
Is there a converter or fittings to use that would make the NG useable vs. using propane?

They only want to be the flagship university for sports, not academics.
Opposite of the Ivy League schools— they have won a National champion football, baseball or basketball in over 80 years. Ivy League schools put academics first!!! LSU puts academics at the bottom.

LSU will pay whatever it takes for coaches and NIL players to win National Championships, but does not want to do the same to have a Top Tier Academic University. What a terrible way to run the supposedly Flagship state university. Insanity.
