depends on the state.
In my state, you can't disclose it publicly.

Anyone who uses the phrase "trained attorney" either went to some Tier 4 school or isn't in the legal field. 99.9% of attorneys will tell you we get almost no real "training" in law school.
Even taking your argument in arguendo, that fits squarely in the context of misleading about your qualification to practice law, and if it was to further a pecuniary interest, is a violation of the ethics rules and potential criminal statutes.

Is she a "PARTIALLY licensed attorney?"
Here's what you posted to show that she WAS an attorney in crowing response to Decatur...to the claps of the arrayed Seals. Do you stand by it?

Facts aren't left or right. They are facts regardless if someone is left or right leaning. As I have said, I'm a conservative who is glad Trump is president. That doesn't mean it's healthy to go along with the bullshite that comes out of the Administration because of Trump's malignant narcissism.
Here, he saw a pretty woman who was incredibly loyal to him. The husband/president slip was telling. Trump values looks and loyalty over competence. This time it bit him in the arse. Why pretend otherwise? It makes you seem reality averse.
So, Matt here likes to create threads about how he argues to get to the truth of the matter and how he "enjoys being shown to be wrong", but after making this insulting post, refuses to address what is actually wrong with the post he has complained about twice now.
I ask again, "Mr. Attorney Man", do you understand the difference between someone calling themselves a "trained attorney" and "an attorney?"
Do you stand behind your criticism of my post that you keep bringing up?

Mine? Mike Rogers pointed out correctly that Dr. El-Sayed was not a "doctor" in the sense of being a practicing physician because he wasn't licensed to practice medicine.
The same is true here. Having a legal degree doesn't make you a lawyer. You have to be licensed.

I heard a lawyer in front of a 5th Circuit panel refer to himself as 'Dr. Smith." One of the judges interrupted him to ask, "I'm sorry...do you have a MD or a PhD in addition to a JD?" The lawyer said "no.":)
I recently saw a billboard for a "doctor lawyer" on Hwy 182 driving in to New Iberia. I just looked for a photo on the web, but couldn't find anything.

She is schooled in the law but is not interested in personal injury law. She can say she has a JD.

There's at least one guy in Baton Rouge who refers to himself as this, but I didn't think he was on any billboards.
Maybe he has competition over there.

Matt brought that post in from another thread where he also bitched about it's accuracy. Do you see anything inaccurate with it?

It's standard practice in journalism, politics, corporate compliance, and media consulting. Bitch about it all you want, but as your fellow "attorney" says, facts are facts.

There is nothing inaccurate in what you quoted. As an "attorney" yourself you surely know the difference between someone saying they are a "trained attorney" and "an attorney", right?
Now deal with this part:

What’s the difference? Honestly, if someone told me that they were a trained attorney, I’d ask them what they meant by that.

The "holding oneself out as being licensed to practice law" IS a misdemeanor in California, but it calls for a maximum of one year in jail in addition to a $1,000 fine.
For California, PARTICULARLY the Bar Association (which is VERY leftist), the process would be the punishment.
