What a strange thing to get your panties in a wad about. You choose to be miserable.

That’s a happy South American kid. And focus on the Dillo there. Wish we were happy in this failing country.

re: Dual Threat Bass Fishing Tournament Scam
Posted by aTmTexas Dillo on 2/23/26 at 8:16 pm to LanierSpots
I don't see how more big dollar tournaments can work. Was looking at Matt Stefan's stats the other day. I watch his YT videos and he has fished the BASS Opens for several years. Goal is to make the elites. He has been in the money only two times with just over 6 grand in earnings. Who in their right mind can continue to fish with those stats? He drove all the way to Sam Rayburn from Wisconsin to not do squat. And nowadays, it's the really young guys who are competitive. They know how to use LiveScope and jig head minnows and they have the juice to put in the work.
Yeah I did hear about that Dual Threat stuff. For the fishermen it was too good to be true.

I was never going to get one. As with everything the government has given back or rebated, I don't get it. I make too much money.

At the recent Munich Security Conference, Dimond in a discussion said he was a globalist. So yeah, he de-banked Trump because that's what the fellow globalists wanted him to do.

Prior to the military action taken by Mexico, did the US have warnings about traveling to Mexico due to Cartels, civil unrest?
No. The State Departments assessment of the various states of Mexico are essentially the same as when I went there back in January. I flew into Merida and the state of Yucatan and Campeche are still shaded green or take normal precaution. Every other state carried greater risk up to don't go there.

If we manufacture and distribute these drugs to Americans, this shite will end. I know we think the US could ever do that but if we had to, we could.

It seems like the trouble is rather restricted to one region of the country.
As I posted above, the drug cartels are a multi-billion dollar enterprise. They are more diversified than just selling drugs. But come on, think about it. They derive most all of their revenue from the United States.
AI says:
It is estimated that Mexican drug cartels derive a massive portion of their revenue—often estimated in the tens of billions of dollars annually—from the United States, driven by high demand for illicit drugs and, increasingly, human smuggling. While exact figures are impossible to calculate due to the clandestine nature of the business, various estimates from law enforcement and intelligence agencies suggest that the U.S. market is the primary source of income for these organizations.
We are involved. In fact it is reasonable to assume some of their revenue finds its way into the pockets of US citizens. Maybe a lot of citizens and politicians and such.

Listening to a guy on the radio this morning. He said the cartels put many, many bad (cartel) hombres in our country during the Biden years. If we are seen to be helping them, it is likely we will have some kickback in our country. I believe Mexico is so corrupt, the good guys will be finished in short order.
AI tells us this:
As of early 2026, the drug cartel business in Mexico has evolved into a massive, diversified "shadow economy" that functions as the country’s fifth-largest employer, with roughly 175,000 active members. These criminal organizations, led primarily by the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), control roughly one-third of Mexican territory, operating not just as traffickers but as quasi-governmental forces involved in extortion, legal agriculture, and high-tech weaponry.

Well this shows the best and brightest don't always achieve the highest. It's about grit and the amount of work you put in. But Trump did graduate from an Ivy League school which was a deal at the time.

It is NOT SAFE - for ANYONE - ANYWHERE, but especially not for Gringos! The Mexican Mindset (Aztec, Mayan) is very crafty & creative. They HAVE to be. Americans, especially today, don't need to and they can be oh so easily caught off guard.....totally surprised, utterly unaware of what they are "walking into".
Recently went to a wedding in the Yucatan. Stayed a few days. No problems. Discussed with the wife whether it is a second or third world country. It's as third world country. But the entire time I was there I wondered if the cartels had permeated throughout this part of Mexico, supposedly the safest.
Did notice the Uber drivers listened to a lot of American music.

Taxes are out of control except for those who pay little. They know the needed revenue will come from someone other than them.
