Would be such a big loss for LSU. If I were South Carolina I would do everything in my power to keep him. The progress he could make is endless.

Even if you hate the guy this is such an LSU move. Hiring a guy away without talking to his current employer. Didn’t this happen to Ryan Nielsen with the Saints and it blew up in O’s face?

No what is going on at South Carolina is that their Board of Trustees hired a guy similar to when Jindal's LSU BOS hired King Alexander, who was not qualified to be the President of LSU. The USC BOS by an 11-9 vote (not as clear as Jindals's hire has he had super majority control of the LSU BOS when King was hired in the spring of 2013) hired a Military guy who does not have a Phd in any academic field and only experience was being a high ranking guy at West Point. Great qualification for the Military but not for running a Research 1 University.
The USC president last week 1) plagiarized his speech at Graduation and said 2) Welcome to the University of California Graduation.
The 2nd one is incompetence and the first 1 is a firing offense. There are calls for him to be fired, he offered his resignation but apparently some guy referred to as "Boss" of the USC BOS did not agree to take his resignation. USC has 1 guy that has been serving on the BOS there since 1990!!!!.
At least in LA, terms are limited.
