IDK man. Not knowing the name of the person you are honoring in your speech is pretty bad.

re: Kellen Moore statue to be unveiled during Saints bye week

Im sure the statue artist is continuing to work, getting better every day, continuing to grow and putting himself in a better position to make statues.
re: Minor league baseball attendance has dropped for the third consecutive season
Posted by Hester Carries on 10/14/26 at 5:26 pm to Paul Allen
The only way to "fix" the attendance for minor league teams, imo, is to remove team affiliations. Have players themselves belong to organizations, but be placed around the country with regional considerations. Fans are more likely to go see teams with more local (whether that be regional colleges or high school) products.
Also having completely random affiliations. Im sure people in Charlotte really care about the organizational health of the ChiSox.
But thats a worse machine for what the whole thing is designed to do. So teams dont really care.

Most shocking part of this story is how quickly Entergy was able to do all that work.

This is a bad take based on no context. She wouldnt make the comments, then do nothing (given no improvement). Thats going out of her way to eventually make herself look weak/foolish. She would have just not said that.

I dont expect everyone to be character. But the more he parrots this standard blah bullshite, the more i think its a cover for being completely overwhelmed

The atmosphere initially is great, and the scenery is spectacular. Hartnett is really good. But as someone said back in this thread, it completely goes off the rails. It wasn't sure what it ultimately wanted to be, I think (or- I thinks, as the script on the show would dictate).
By the time it goes off the rails you’re already done. It’s 6 episodes at 35 mins a pop. It’s super fun for a while and entertaining enough.

Im not gonna root against Americans. But i aint rooting for those broads, so my only option is completely ignoring them

re: The Rays are the team of destiny

I’m rooting for the Rays because I feel like them winning it might bring back a resurgence of old school baseball with an emphasis on bat to ball and running.

The only 2 i was bummed to see at the time were Breaux and Parker but i dont see them doing anything or moving the needle here.

why? The batman was better than anything Gunn has put out iin the DCU so far.
because waiting 5 years between a parallel Batman franchise is borderline a waste of time for all in involved.

Check out the Tin Roof near campus on Gameday. Great atmosphere and good food/drinks.
It's about the closest bar to Korger field and still a 30-minute walk. Nothing around the stadium except for parking lot tailgates.
Yeah been up that way once before and thats where we ended up.

re: Remember when the board was saying we were gonna blowout Ole Miss?
Posted by Hester Carries on 10/6/26 at 12:52 pm to AMac
I think people have completely over-corrected on that game. We regrouped and won the 2nd half exactly as most people expected the whole game to go. we just couldnt overcome the whole the first half put us in.
