Mental Health has become the get out of jail free card for the Millenials and GenZs

Welcome to the Progressives. This is why I get so mad when I see the term Progressive used so generally to describe someone who is a little ultra liberal .

Prgressives are worst than Communists, Socialists, Nazis, Anarchists, etc. Their only goal is to sieze power by deception. See Saul Alinsky...

from the end of their junior college season through the week before the next year’s draft
My god. We are talking about his options today. He can’t sign before the end of the 2027 season. He’s going to college somewhere.

My God do you read. Yes he has to go to college and after the 2027 season and before the draft he can still sign with Cleveland although I do not have any idea why he would do that.
quote:

He can’t sign, you dumbass.

He can go JUCO and still sign with Cleveland before next draft. He can broker a better deal if that is his desire but probably not his best option.

quote:

Junior college exception: Players drafted and expected to attend junior college the following season could sign after the deadline, from the end of their junior college season through the week before the next year’s draft, with bonuses capped at $225,000
That dont look like a teen takeover. Just looks like an everyday urban fight
quote:

I need yall to have some minimal understanding of the draft and his options before you spew bullshite.

You need to understand the out of the box thinking. He has no rights to trade but if Cleveland lets him rot on the vine they come out with nothing. If he signs any options he has are out the door.
quote:

Often, people assume more is better and there are times when you need that in your calendar but you also can go way overboard with it and hinder guys late in the year.

I can agree with that but also consider we have two open dates per season now. Also, a lot of the load management jargon nowadays is more directed at preventing soft tissue injury more than overall conditioning.
quote:

Why would you not just go behind the scenes and ask talk to LSU about this?

This is about a contract between two players and Ole Miss/NIL. Players have no contract with the school. LSU is involved but not the liable parties.

The problem for LSU is if someone promised to buyout the contract for them and did not.
quote:

We shouldn’t have to convince a commit that LSU (where he committed) is his best option after pro ball at this stage. We’ve been there and it has never worked.

Well the young man has 3-4 options and he has to choose something.

1. Sign with Cleveland, take $$$ offered
2A. Sign with LSU, enter draft again in 29, NIL Cash
2B. Sign with another college team, enter draft again in 29, NIL Cash
3 Go JUCO, enter draft again next season, No NIL Cash
4 Remain amateur, enter draft again next season, No NIL Cash

I think he has a bigger problem going to Cleveland than anything. I suppose he could ask for a trade but I doubt it to happen.

2019- nobody really saw that season coming. The hype wasn’t there.

Disagree to point on this one. There was some hype with Burrow saying we would open up and score 40-50 points per game. However we did not play a big season opener that year and had to go to Texas week two. We did not have another decent big game until first of Oct when UF came to town.

The problem was we knew we were good in Sept but did not know how good until UF and Aub games were in the bag.

Just curious - we didn’t seem particularly strong ever or in great shape in the 4Q under the previous staff.

Somebody posted a thread yesterday about "load management." Your point was my first thought when I read it. The comments were praising the prior staffs for this effort.

My thoughts were that we needed more load applied to generate better late game conditioning. The other comment I keep hearing from fans, staff, and players is that we need to get more physical. Whit Weeks even said we needed to get meaner at SEC media days interview.

You cant get more physical if you are not conditioned better than your opponent.

Not a fan of Beshear but he’s not wrong here.

Yes he is wrong. This is all grandstanding on Beshear's behalf. 43 days is not long compared to other Senator absences like Feinstein who missed 3 months on one occasion alone and had many others. You did not see Dems calling on Feinstein to cash it in but you did see GOP folks calling for it. Same situation.

Beshear knows that after August 3rd that McConnel's seat which is already up for election this fall will just proceed with the normal election process. He is not running for re-election. If he dies or resigns before Aug 3 then Beshear gets to appoint someone of his choosing until the election. This does not seem like much but Beshear could appoint a Dem to trim the thin majority the GOP has and with bills like the SAVE Act possibly coming up this is important.

I am prretty sure the GOP has majority in both houses in KY so I dont think Beshear has the authority to remove him in the next week.

But if you just skip a hole or replay a hole you can actually keep moving instead of sitting there behind a 5-some.

I have no idea why you got 3 DVs. I gave you the UV and I do this all the time. Clueless people I guess

Willing to admit I’m wrong here; honestly curious.
And if nothing else, should they just close the course when it’s packed and not let in 5 somes?
Worried about BR golf. Playing some of my best ever but growing frustrated waiting ten mins to tee. Ten mins for approach, then pulling up to next tee where the current group is just sitting there.

I enter this conversation cautiously because I work in this business. As a poster on here said a single has little to no standing on the Tee Sheet. Beaver Creek lets them go off as a courtesy because there is a lot of unbooked times and no-shows. Golf courses need to fill the tee box up and singles dilute the flow of golfers on the course.

I played as a single today and ran into a similar situation and rather than complain I realized that my best option was to do something else. I got to a hole and there was a 4some on the tee, a 4some in the fairway, and one on the green. There is not much going around this so I went back and played the front 9 a second time and gues what... nobody in front of me for the whole 9.

This is the question: If I 'quit' my job, will I still be able to use COBRA to get this hip replacement done?

I dont thiink you get COBRA benefits if you quit.

FWIW, I got laid off back in 2016 and was offered COBRA coverage that I could pay for that was conveniently the same cost as Obamacare coverge if I bought it myself with no discounts... I had been with that company 29 yrs so seniority did not make any difference

I hope you are kidding...

I am more curious about how much Lane will run Leavitt given his situation of coming off injury. I dont think Kiffin babies him and runs him 10-15 carries per game.
