Seems to be prevalent on this board.

Is the economy really that bad?

It is for job seekers and people looking to better themeselves by starting a family and buying a home but that's been the case since 2020 so it's not like Democrats will fix it.

Trump ran on fixing it and has put in a few policies that might actually help in the long run but he's also purposely damaged it with the petty tariffs, big beautiful bill, and the war.

In my business, our procurement costs have shot up by 23% over the past 2 years. When Biden was in office, It was going up 3 to 5% a year which at the time I thought was terrible. We prioritize "Made in America" too but that's pretty much impossible to do these days 100%.

That's a product of socialist policies. They want lots of poor, because poor socialists vote for more socialism. We're past the point of return. Have been for quite a while. Trump was our last chance to reverse course and congress failed him.

No it is not. The war and subsequent gas prices cost Americans the election. That, and arresting too many pedophiles, which hurts every democrat voter.

We never recovered from the inflation covid brought. And then we added tarrifs without doing away with income taxes and high gas prices on top of it. Shits expensive out there, baw.

Many of us see the same. But no one owes us anything either and it's easy to become complacent. That's where I've been. So the effects seem more pronounced.

I don't believe the economy is bad, but oil volatility had direct impacts on energy pricing, just what the IRGC & DSA wanted.

It's still hard to believe, last nights outcome.

The pro-leftist media propaganda clearly had an effect on GOP turnout.

GOP voters watch "pro-Leftist media?"

Or are Fox News, OANN, etc., pro-Leftist?

Any bills have to go through the presidents desk. We’ll see what he does with them

For the majority of people, the economy is pretty bad. shite is just really expensive and that has led to uneducated voters turning to socialists for solutions.

The economy has been on a good track and has a bright future but for one thing.

The US Debt is at catastrophic levels relative to GDP. Congress continues to exceed sensible budget and Spending levels, with no end in sight. It is unsustainable, even if tax revenues increase.

I guess I just look outside and I just don’t see all the despair I see online and the news. But to be fair I basically never read or listen to political except election night like tonight.

I do the majority of our grocery shopping and do it online, but regular prices have skyrocketed. That said, you do the digital coupons and go with what’s on sale it’s probably an overall increase of 10% or so, but if you just walk in and buy what you want it’s significantly increased. I can seeing it being a major impact for a lot of people especially those who lack the capacity to budget or are buying with government funds and don’t really care.

Also remember the cuts and restrictions that have been made to the government handouts and you have a lot of non-contributors wanting what’s “theirs” and here we are.

The only way to get communism voted in is to eliminate the middle class, it’s all by design.

You need a leader to lead here. Like Milei did in Argentina. Trump doesn't give two shats about debt/deficits. It has to come from him.

It’s bad for folks outside of the top 10% and now we’re all being told the AI freight train has to come NOW and we need to like data centers on every corner which will eliminate jobs for not only that very same class of people but a much wider group as well.

The same retards downvoting you are the same ones who either voted blue or sat home eating bonbons while the country caught on fire.
