I truly believe he's one of the best presidents we've ever had, but how old would he be at the end of a 3rd term? Let him go enjoy some golf, while we enjoy 16 years of Vance and De Santis.
No. As the son of a European immigrant I can attest to the feeling of being both American and also bonded to the "old country." I'm American through and through, but if USA plays the old country in the upcoming World Cup, sorry guys!

That was my first thought when reading the OP too. I figured congressmen and senators had a staff of maybe a half dozen, and that's if they're important. Mercy, how the hell do they keep 40 people busy? Reading emails from disgruntled constituents?

The combat was certainly real, but I think OP is referring to the importance of the implications of the war. Vietnam was a proxy war. North Vietnam gained a sliver of land, but life in America was virtually unchanged aside from the grieving families of lost soldiers. It is 100% a pyramid scheme. It has zero intrinsic value. I will never buy it now. But I also wish I would have bought $100 worth in 2010 when I first heard of it.
