Because the real fight in this country isn't left versus right - it's top versus bottom
I'm thinking Talarico is pretty well versed in being a "bottom" as opposed to a "top."

Are any actually still in office?

Those are called RINOS. To be more simple, it would seem Texas hasn’t discovered what Arkansas has.
Post Carter and Clinton, the Democratic Party marched towards Communism under Obama. Planned.
In Southern states, you have people who’s Great Great Great Granddaddy Jim Bob was a Democrat when that party still had sense.
However, like a Muslim, they won’t defect and convert because the family has always voted (D) since before slavery and they’d be disowned.
The problem, getting elected in the South. They simply would register as Republican to get elected but vote Democrat.
Those folks are getting exposed and removed.

Former. The whole list is 19 former or retired or ex office holders and one "mayor pro tem."
This list is basically "Bush era republicans and Never Trumpers don't like Paxton." Shocking.

Lot of "former" and "retired" guys...
What pussies. And traitors to not only Texas, but America.
Cornyn and the Bush family doing work for Talarico. What a shame.

I'm sorry, but there is no true conservative or Republican that can vote for that lunatic, and the party policies that he stands for.
You can vote for the scumbag, who is right on the issues, or the perceived good guy whose policies will destroy the country.
It's pretty fricking clear cut.

I don’t care about Paxton one way or another, there is something mentally wrong with a certain swath of the Republican Party. It’s so weird how republicans will shank one of their own without hesitation because of petty politics but will bend over backwards and sideways to reach across the aisle to Dems.

Looks like all Bush people which is a big nothing burger. There is a reason they are all "former" something, they have already been outed as RINOs.

I understand people can have problems with Paxton, but to support Talarico over him is to shoot yourself in the face as a means of popping a zit.

Texas is becoming more homosexual by the minute, enjoy Senator Talerico!!
