Aren't Asian elephants bigger and meaner than African?
Yes, pent up frustration from having smaller peepee.

Anytime someone under oath to tell the truth starts an answer with “my recollection is…” everything after is bullshite.
That is 100% an answer that is untruthful. No one can disprove what his recollection is/was at the time of giving that answer. Therefore, when anyone provides contradictory evidence later he can simply state: “well, I said it was my recollection. I dint say it was factual.”

Absolutely, Asia over Europe.
Taiwan
Korea
Vietnam
Thailand
Philippines
Singapore
All great choices.
After Asia would be New Zealand
After New Zealand would be Europe...
Europe closely followed by Bunkie.

Am I the only one who thinks the daughter is going to end up falling in love with the ferret-girl roommate?
I just know it’s coming for the shock value.

Man, those two pictures, she's gone through some Changes.
For What It's Worth, I Don't Know, and we may Never Know Why.
A Shot in the Dark, maybe the Woman needs Therapy, or it's Demon Alcohol, Truly, God Only Knows?
Maybe she's an Ozzempic Junkie?
Here's a Revelation, instead of all this guessing in this thread, which is a Road to Nowhere, y'all need to call Perry Mason.
By the looks of it, someone needs to help her, she looks like she is Running Out of Time because she could definitely fit right into Pictures of Matchstick Men.

re: Liberal economist comes to terms with Trump Tariffs
Posted by Floating Change Up on 1/16/26 at 10:14 am to TBoy

This is likely the primary adjustment that has softened the blow. When the administration rolled out the first set of tariffs on "liberation day", they were ridiculous across the board tariffs on almost every trading partner around the world without any discernable metric or policy. Since that time the tariffs have adjusted hundreds of times. It's to the point that I doubt that anyone has any idea what the tariff rates are anymore.
The tariffs have adjusted to focus somewhat on specific trading partners and specific sectors. That is how tariffs should be focused. If the tariffs are addressing specific trade policies or protecting specific domestic industries, tariffs become rational.
You sure do say a lot of words here when you simply could have said...
"Yup. Trump was right."

Any baws here going to attend the WBC?
I tried to get tickets to USA/Mexico yesterday -- sold out in minutes.
Just as well, my son has high school games so I would have to miss those to go see WBC. Not worth it.
Although, the experience of USA/Japan, USA/Mexico, and Japan/Korea in Anaheim in 2006 are all easily Top-8 sporting environments that I have attended in person - the crowds were insanely loud and festive. The rosters on those 4 teams were absolutely loaded with amazing baseball players.

I can’t decide if I wasn’t to sacrifice this season and help the rebuild be quicker by trading Esock or not
With them spending money on Imai, with his opt-outs, there is no chance the brain-trusts and back-of-trading-card readers go the 'sacrifice this season' route.

But there’s no way he’s worth $60 million a year
You're right. He's worth $120 million a year.
Because the Dodgers are over the top tax threshold, Tucker's salary is taxed at 100% -- so it will cost them $120MM.

I think Tucker absolutely shines this season -- he will be surrounded with star personalities so he doesn't have to be "THE guy" like he was in Chicago. I think he puts up a monster year.**
If he stays healthy.
