In a lot of Asian countries, i.e. Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, small pickup trucks with traditional beds, flat beds and small boxes are all used as actual delivery vehicles from everything from fresh produce to spare machine parts. The hilux is a mainstay in that enormous market of fleet delivery trucks.

They probably very rarely travel more than 75 miles in a day but are making many short deliveries on very congested streets - small nimble delivery trucks are essential. Toyota could absolutely own the fleet delivery market in these countries. Easily 10's of Thousands yearly sales.
