He relied on his smartass MeeMaw

One of the great moves they made in Young Sheldon is changing the persona of MeeMaw. In the original show, June Squibb made an appearance as MeeMaw, and was a completely different personality. The original character would not have worked at all in Young Sheldon, and Annie Potts portrayal was the best part that show.
Some of the ancillary characters are the best, primarily the parents of each of the main characters.

Sheldon and Leonard's mothers are absolutely fantastic, especially the episodes where they interact with each other.

Kathy Bates is in a few episodes at Amy's mother, and she is hilarious.

The film would have been a lot better if it was just the Duvall-Favreau storyline the whole time.

Not sure about that, but Favreau has some great scenes.

The one with him and Katy Mixon as his wife when they play Taboo...that is absolute gold.

edit: missed the earlier post with this clip.

Are you going to post this every year?

Snyder pulled K-State out of the gutter not once, but twice.

This is the part that makes him one of the best ever.

He retires, watches his successor frick up everything he built in just 3 years, so he gets out of the recliner at age 70 and builds it all back up again. Wins the conference title in year 4 of the second stint.

The man was one of the best ever..

Constable paw paw should have retired a couple of decades ago.

Looks like he announced he is retiring this year due to the backlash over this..
Any place that has Gus Malzahn at 20% instantly loses any credibility.

Gus Malzhan.- FSU OC
Kodi Burns - USF co-OC
Bryan Harsin - Cal OC
Rob Ezell - Wake Forest OC
Tosh Lupoi - Oregon co-OC
Joe Moorhead - Akron OC
DJ Durkin - Auburn DC
Travaris Robinson - Georgia co-DC
Glenn Schumman - Georgia co-DC
Blake Baker - LSU DC
Pete Golding - Ole Miss DC
Tim Banks - Tennessee DC
Clayton White - South Carolina DC

They all have SEC track records AND are employed. So that has to qualify as successful.

Kodi Burns - USF co-OC

does not belong on that list...
I meant that we aren't the nuts who threw that much $$ at him. We'd be sitting on another huge buyout in a few years. There were significant boosters trying to do just that. He's absolutely not worth the $$ it was going to take to get him.
He's mini-Gus.

He just lost to fricking Wake Forest, with his high powered offense scoring 12 points...with their all-star QB Jennings throwing no TDs, and 1 pick with less than 200 yards.

SMU is not at all good this year.

I know a few Miami fans who absolutely hate him from his 2 years there as OC.

It's a great day for Arkansas, but rest assured, we will still frick it up and make an awful hire.

Lashlee is absolutely not worth the money SMU just threw at him.

Yes, the White House has never been remodeled. Dim History

Burned to the ground by the Brits and remodeled multiple times. Reality

Exactly. We need to demo all the West wing also, Oval office and all, and move the office back into the White House proper.

I mean, history and all, that's where it originally was.

I don't like DDD only because he never has anything negative to say. He likes everything he tries, no constructive criticism. He says, "Great job" to every person on the show. It's hard to take his recs seriously as a result.

It's rare, but it has happened before. There was an episode where he was at a small authentic Mexican place, and they had him eat Menudo. He almost refused, but did eventually eat it. He absolutely did not like it, and made it clear. It was actually pretty funny to watch.
They need to identify all the frickers near him that thought what he was doing was hilarious, and throw their asses out as well.

No. She’s been fired.

That is hilarious.

When the student answered the President's question about wanting her fired, and she said yes, he was so pompous and arrogant when he said "Well, that's not going to happen."

I love that the douchebag had to eat his words just a few days later.

This is the difference between Obergefell and Roe. With overturning Roe, you are just preventing something in the future.

Overturn Obergefell and you immediately nullify marriages that have been in place for as many as 10 years. The ramifications of that are monumental, from estates, health insurance, and countless other things.

For that reason alone I see at least Roberts, Kavanaugh, most likely Gorsuch not being willing to undo now 10+ years of life for people that would be impacted.

Well, I would imagine Annise Parker is buying shots at the lesbian bar right now after watching that shitshow.

She's already announced her run against Dora.

Binged the doc yesterday, and I have to agree with this. While the witnesses seem credible, it just seems hard to imagine someone as smart and athletic as her not finding some way over the years to get away. Although, I have to admit, the facial recognition expert saying the picture on the prostitute website seemed to be her was pretty hard to ignore.

The Game Show network has been re-running his streak on the original Jeopardy. He really was amazing, but also amazing is how he's transformed himself from an awkward genius into a pretty personable, likeable host of the show. It's almost night and day transformation. Kudos to him for finding his niche.

Trump is using Epstein as leverage.

With all the rumors of a major publication working on a 'huge' Trump / Epstein story for months now, could it be Trump knows that and is waiting for that to drop and then he drops the hammer, which not only clears him but implicates Clinton, Prince Andrew, and tons of other Dems (and Rs ) in much worse transgressions than are known?

If he just dumped it, it could look like he was being vindictive. If he does it to prove the story false, like he's done with all of his media lawsuits, it might have a better look.

Just speculating.
So, Oakmont bans Clark for being an idiot and damaging the locker room. Of course, there are stipulations like paying for the damage, apologizing, and donating a set amount to a charity of the club board's choosing.

Of course Clark will do it just to save face. He's already apologized.

But, it begs the questions... assume he doesn't do that and the Open goes back to Oakmont while he still has an exemption to play. What supersedes? The ban they have, or his legit right to play?
