Why are they calling this person a Captain. If he did not have the qualifications of a boat captain or a Captains license then he is just an amateur boat operator.

Referring to this person as a Captain portrays him as something he is not and is an insult to those who are real licensed boat captains.
33% is respectable when the media looks only negative stories they can report on Trump, his policies, and his administration. Just think if the leftist paid for TDS media reported all the positives of Trump policies, he would easily have a 50% rating.

No offense, but you’re always going to suck at golf with this attitude.

What is your definition of sucking at golf? What type attitude are you referring to?

3 of the last 4 times I have played I was placed in a group with at least one player that had a good driver game, and then struggled with the rest of their game.

Maybe I see a different variety of players because I play public courses as a single paired with other groups.

I guess not if you are the official self appointed God of golf. Good luck.

I am not looking to argue about golf here. There are different strategies that fit different skill sets. But sounds like my skill set is different than yours and my game is where it should be at this time.

Yes it easier to hit a green from 150 than 180, but for my game it's just a different club with the same swing.

would love to see this golfer who can drive the ball 280 yards straight but cant hit any other club in the bag.

I see some like this every round I play on public course. They can pound the ball off the tee but the rest of their game is inconsistent.

My guess is their range session is to hit driver.

It's not an aversion to learning how to hit the driver, but more about time to practice an focus on specific parts of the game. If a high handicappers tries be ok at all parts of their game they will always be a high handicappers.

If you hit your drive 280 yards in the fairway but then top your iron, the follow that up with a shot off the green, the hit a chip 10 feet from the hole, then 2 putt, you just doubled bogey on a great drive.

If I hit my drive 250, then hit my approach on the green or just off the green, chip to within 5 ft, one put, I made par or better if my approach is on the green and putting for birdie.

A short player off the tee with the same HC and a good short game cannot find a stroke to gain 30+ yards off the tee.

This makes logical sense but its a subject that has veered away from the OP about those trying to break 90.

There is no comparison to the skill level of a 5 hc and someone shooting 90. Someone shooting in the 90s needs to focus on hitting pure irons and short game. If they have a solid iron and short game they can break 90 playing nothing more than an 7 iron.

I think the reason people have trouble with the driver is because it is a different setup and swing than the irons. High handicappers should focus on perfecting the irons because that translates to more shots per round than the driver.

#1 keep ball in play. Don’t take drops

#2 don’t 3 putt

#3 be able to chip well enough when you’re right around the green for a realistic opportunity to make the putt.

Learn to not swing all out when you’re 150yards and in. Get good at taking a bigger club and punching it up on the green or a 60% swing. Lot more accuracy and less chance of chunking or blading a ball.

This is my game. I will take a 230 yard drive in the fairway all day long because my iron game will get me on the green, or at worst on the fringe for a little chip and run. My score goes up when I have to scramble from off the fairway.

I have found that on most courses, there only about 8 holes where a driver off the tee is the right club for me. The short par 4's are traps to entice you to hit the driver into trouble and I will just play for a good approach into the green.
This is really odd because I am most cert that Texas also has a law that makes commercial use of facial recognition illegal.
Iran will not cry uncle because those in power will be fine and those people don't not care about anything else outside of their theocracy.

My opinion is that we have some Obama and DSA people advising iran on our strategies and capabilities.
My guess is that Democrats voted in the Republican primary to swing the election and protect the incumbent.
Might be helpful for them if they put an address or map to their location.

Johnson sucked and Langford is not any better. It would have been much more effective if they would have responded to the Democrat lady complaint about labs closing and scientist having to leave the US.

This is all happening because of what Fauci did!!! He created this new environment of turning science into politics, running rogue labs, and shady science. Then he causes a pandemic and tries to hide it all.

The Democrats and the public need to see that what Fauci did is at the very core of all their complaints. Fauci destroyed the credibility and trust and this needs to be deeply rooted about and acknowledged so that no future director or scientist ever follows what he did.

That was fun to watch yesterday. 2 eagles and a putt for a third eagle.
This absolutely deserves a RICO investigation. There is no way this is designed by just a couple of people who know where the money is coming from, who's campaigns it's being allocated to, and who name is being used as the ghost donor.

This takes a lott of people to coordinate and the higher up politicians absolutely have to know all the details about how funds are reaching campaigns.

They know who they are using as ghost donors because if they did not, then those high contributing donors would be receiving VIP invites, newsletters, thank you's, phone calls, etc from campaigns and DNC organizers. The fact that these people are not receiving this level of attention can only mean that they are in some designated file for being ghost donors.

re: Golf and speakers

I had to deal with this last week for the first time as a single placed with a threesome of a dad in his 50s and his son and friend in their early 30s. They kept the speaker low volume, but what was more an issue is their slow play. They were often looking for another song instead getting ready to hit their next shot.

I was pushing the play by not wasting time waiting around for them and played my ball when ready.
My guess is that this was already negotiated with the judge through lawfare OMB back channels and now they file to have it ruled as they desired.
This is the results of allowing non citizens and the ability to participate in the US government process. They do not care to understand how the government work and why it is designed as it is. They just want to change everything because the system is designed to be a slow reaction form of government to prevent constant changes to laws and policies based on the current day whims of who has power.

She does have a very weird view of the constitution. It does appear she bend hard to her personal living biases over the originalist views of the constitution when it meets her needs.

Her birthright ruling was all based her mother protection bias and little constitution interpretation. There are ample policies that have been put in place that clearly show Congress never intended for anyone born in the US to be citizens.
