Yes. A dude from high school is having a mental breakdown and is doing it on Facebook for the world to see.

Everyone that comments and tells him to get help, he accuses them of stalking him, breaking in his house, etc.

- Purchased a firebird that got quickly repossessed
- Used his truck to push the neighbors car forward by 5 feet
- Stood in his front yard racking a shotgun on a few occasions
- Started trimming trees for money and brought the tree limbs to store them in his front yard
- Had a dead carcass smell in his front yard we all assumed was a body. . . it was a deer, that he blamed his neighbor for planting there
- Cops were at his house routinely for nonsense.
- Tailgated neighbors from his house all the way to their work
- Stood in his front yard with a full body length mirror and smashed it into a million pieces
- Tried to convince me to give a raccoon that died in my backyard due to led poisoning to the kids down the street so they could make a hat

That's just good ole time crazy right there.

Pretty sure I know who you are referring to if you are talking about a LSU/BTR circle of people. Not naming names obviously, but she has been on an insane run of shite she has put on social media lately.

I think so too… at first I was sure she was hacked. Looks like a well-known model?

Yes. Unfortunately it’s a relative and it depresses me from time to time.

Friend of the family got catfished. Balding and near retirement, and probably less than average looking. He's been married to his wife for 40 years, and they were high school sweethearts.

One day the bank contacts her and says her husband is taking huge sums of money out of their bank accounts. She talks to him and it's the usual catfishing story complete with a sexy asian looking model type that's going to take him all over the world and introduce him to the rich and famous.

According to him, he has already "made a ton of money" in crypto with these people but can't get it out and needs her to give him more of the money from the accounts she has frozen to pay a "processing fee to release the "funds".

The "beautiful, young, worldly, rich woman" who has taken him under her wing to "teach him how to invest in crypto", is always stringing him along about coming to meet him next week, or send him tickets to fly out to meet her, but something always comes up and "she" has to postpone the meeting. Over and over. He just cannot see the forest for the trees.

The bankers, law enforcement (FBI or treasury dept. -not sure which) and friends have all tried to convince him he is part of a pig butchering scam, but he won't listen to any of them.

He won't listen to the family physician about getting tests done to see if he has a mass or something else wrong with his brain. When confronted with the truth, he just gets a glazed look in his eyes and becomes non responsive.

The man has totally lost his marbles and a huge portion of his and his wife's life savings. This has been going on for 6 months at this point. I think he's had some sort of psychotic break.

I knew a guy that was making a decent living working at Jack Daniel distillery. He would stay up late at night going down rabbit holes researching conspiracy theories.
He started ordering these crystals from a lady in some foreign country that told him they would keep him safe from harm.
He started building an underground bunker and he was setting his own $100 bills on fire at work and they fired him. That’s when I stopped hanging around him.

The son of our close family friends lost it a few years ago. Always a nice guy, came from a good family, and appeared to have a good head on his shoulders.

Maybe 5 years ago, he began posting verses from Revelation on social media. That eventually morphed into long posts about how the United States was an evil entity created by Satan to destroy the world. Everyone gave up contact after he began posting that Charlie Kirk was suffering in hell for putting his country above Jesus or something.

The creepy part is that nobody knows what happened. Speculation has gone from mid-life crisis, to drugs, to potentially finding a weird church/cult, or he just snapped. I think his dad or nephew tried to have a heart-to-heart with him at one point, but never got a straight answer.
