That makes too much sense. We’re talking about fed government here though.
The ones that show up are only getting premium pay more than their “sick out” counterparts. And by the time the back pay comes their LES won’t show the details so it’s a case of trusting the government to pay what’s correct.
The no shows will get the PTO refunded and their back pay paychecks will be straight 80 checks.

They will receive the same pay as the ones not showing up plus premiums. The ones not showing up will get all their PTO back.
