Why don't High Schools have classes regarding the legal & financial impact of marriage ?

Getting married is probably the most impactful decision you will make from a legal/financial standpoint.
They should teach about prenups & the legal impact of what you're signing.
Teach about how courts handle division of assets, alimony etc.
Maybe bring in a Divorce Attorney to answer questions & take a field trip and sit in a Divorce Court.

Imagine fighting to see your kids more than one weekend a month and you got Ms Bloom’s 11th grade cutting up and cracking jokes about your divorced arse in the court room

You really want the average public high school teacher nowadays teaching their version to your kids?

because I’m sure people getting a divorce want a bunch of high schools students sitting in on the proceedings

High Schools have a million useless classes, but none on something as impactful as marriage that will impact the majority of students.
Seems like it would be a good idea to have some understanding regarding the legal impact of what you're signing

They sure seem to teach the females.

Women are incentivized to leave marriages by the court. They get the kids and a monthly check.

It’s kinda like letting kids believe in Santa Claus, they’ll inevitably find out it’s a crock of shite. We all want to believe in fairy tales/dreams coming true.

I personally blame parents for not edging off of their moral high horses and being realists. What’s more important? Your ideologies or your son’s (as if any woman ever lost their arse in divorce court) financial future?

The older you get the more you learn women create these delusions/old wives tales. “Happy wife, happy life” “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free”… that last one is my favorite. If the cows only benefit is the milk (sex) why risk losing most everything you build for a piece of arse.

A decent piece will run you $500 and will leave after you’re done… not take your house and go scratched earth on your name with family, friends and work colleagues.

Clearly I have some experience in this area…
