re: Why don't High Schools have classes regarding the legal & financial impact of marriage ?

And a high school teacher is?
The same as with any other class.
There would be teachers educated on the subject, the same way that they have teachers educated in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
Why is the fist post getting downvoted 27-1 ?
How is being educated/informed about marriage contracts, prenup agreements, divorce law etc. prior to getting married a bad thing ?
I feel like I'm in bizarro world, the Twilight Zone.

What are parents for?
Because parents aren't well versed on Prenups, Contract Law etc.
That's like saying why teach Chemistry, Physics, Calculus because "what are parents for?"

Especially teach men about the 10 year rule in some states.
Married for 10 years means alimony for life.
I think that's something a lot of men wish they'd learned in High School Marriage/Divorce 101.
That way he doesn't end up in Divorce Court saying "Wait, what ? She gets half of everything AND alimony for life ?".

High Schools have a million useless classes, but none on something as impactful as marriage that will impact the majority of students.
Seems like it would be a good idea to have some understanding regarding the legal impact of what you're signing

Getting married is probably the most impactful decision you will make from a legal/financial standpoint.
They should teach about prenups & the legal impact of what you're signing.
Teach about how courts handle division of assets, alimony etc.
Maybe bring in a Divorce Attorney to answer questions & take a field trip and sit in a Divorce Court.

Smart enough to get into an Ivy, not smart enough to use protection
The University of Florida is ranked #1 in the SEC

I feel bad for guys that are under 6' tall.
Women view short men the way men view obese women, zero attraction.
Except fat women can lose weight, short guys are stuck being short.
