I was on the phone with them this morning and they are still great. One of the main reasons I stay with USAA is their customer service. It has been and continues to be excellent.

It sounds like you want a solid plan, but one of the few great things about NYC is how walkable it is. If your hotel overlooks southern Central Park you can walk to the MoMA (5th floor is best), Times Square, NY Public Library, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, etc. There is so much to do in that area. You can just walk around and take it all in.
