I don’t disagree.

Well, if you put in electric motors, the lefties may forgive you.
You don't qualify for the Joe Biden corvette exclusion.

Stupid people don't realize they're stupid.
I see it all the time with my employees. The ones who aren't that bright are the most vocal about being right when they aren't.

This is a dumb analogy and yes every vehicle I own has stock mufflers

Same with jacked up trucks that "roll coal"

What I have a difficult time understanding is the drivers who launch off the red traffic light going 0 to 80 in 2 seconds only having to come to a complete stop at the very next red traffic light. I roll up behind them like 90 seconds later.
That has to be hard on their engine, brakes, and fuel mileage.

I don’t like “loud” especially rice rocket type loud. But I’ve always loved a low rumble sound — the type that sounds good while you accelerate, but doesn’t wake up the neighborhood.

Idiots do this in NYC all the time. 90% of the time it’s outer burrow / NJ / bridge & tunnel trash.

I once took off the muffler on my 100 series LC to piss off a Karen neighbor everyone hated. I don’t know if that made me less intelligent, but she moved after about a month of this

Tonight at 10pm, "less intelligent" people are more likely to spend their money on stupid shite.
Back to you Eli.
Back to you Eli.

What if you own a vintage muscle car with pretty loud exhaust? Does that make you dumb?

What about Harley drivers?

Its the weekly bitch about loud car threads.

quote:Have you considered they don't GAF what you think, that they are doing it because they like the sound? I know I like the sound of a hot car going through gears, mine or other folks.
I don't understand it, it reminds me of the South Park episode about motorcycle riders.
Do they really think other people are like, "yeah, that sounds so cool"?
An import with a coffee can muffler or a truck with an automatic? Yeah no. It's just noise. But the owners apparently like it and it's legal.
With the seeming majority of posters on here that don't like any kind of custom (loud) exhaust and complain about it weekly, seems like you all could band together and make it illegal?
OR, you can just wait until the government makes it illegal or impossibly expensive to drive a vehicle with an internal combustion engine and we are all driving EV's.
But maybe that's what you want. What a bunch of Prius owners you are.
And I guarantee you all will be the first one's bitching about the government overreach when this happens.

Insecurity. Desire to be noticed.

But I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feeling because of loud noises.
Put a 427 Cobra under the hood with stage 3 cams. Assert dominance in your neighborhood.
