Haven’t seen any of your threads about those kids, but you made one about Guthrie’s mom. Maybe you are part of the problem too.
I missed your last two updates, but just did a search because I was wondering how things were going. It sounds like you are controlling things well and figuring it what works well for you. Awesome news on the A1C numbers and maintaining your running hobby. Keep it up!
I don’t know if it was better, but the Bruno Mars halftime show was surprisingly great

Maybe, but they are spending their precious and limited free time volunteering and providing a service for your kid. How much of your free time do you spend helping their kids?
I don’t have a good answer for you. My kids both have iPhones. They are good, well rounded kids, but, like you and me, they probably spend more time than they should on their phones. Having said that, you are probably pissing in the wind a bit trying to control access to technology after the age of 13 or so. Teaching them appropriate behaviors and responsibility is probably a better use of your efforts than excluding the tools that are a common part of everyday life. Again, not a great answer, but where I have come down on this issue after wrestling with it.

Rob Reiner, his wife Michele, and their son Nick attended Conan O'Brien's Christmas party Saturday night. At the party, Rob and Nick got into a "very loud argument," loud enough for many others to hear ... Reiner family sources tell TMZ. We're told Rob and Michele then left the party. We do not know if Nick left as well

probably picked up some idea about how inheritance and divorce work in his 77 years of building wealth. Unless he isn’t of sound mind, he gets to make his own choices regardless of who gets an undeserved windfall when he dies.

If you are concerned with your liver, then the first step would be to stop drinking alcohol, right?

Also my guess is they have rules officials next year...too much money on the line.
Negative. Too much entertainment value in Dave, with very limited golf knowledge, acting as a rules official and stirring the pot. He’s much more interested in compelling content than worrying about golf purists.

I’m pretty sure the Mo slope shenanigans were scripted. From FP bringing it up on the first tee the first day, to Micah calling it out, to the way it went down in the final video…it smells of a barstool script.

Check out some of the whoop knockoffs. I use an amazfit strap and it’s pretty solid

Pretty much. They are in sales. They don’t draft policies and exclusions and they don’t really manage claims. Good ones might understand policies and exclusions enough to give you some advice. Otherwise, they are the same as real estate agents but for insurance instead of property.

re: Personal Trainer- worth it?

Posted by WDE24 on 11/13/25 at 7:22 am to
A personal trainer might be useful for a short time if you are intimidated by the gym and can’t learn proper lifting form on your own. What you really need is the discipline to eat a lot less and a lot healthier.

1800-2000 calories per day tracked religiously. Focus your meals on protein (better if it’sa lean protein). Eat some rice or potatoes with your protein. Mix in veggies and fruit.

Eliminate fried food, added sugars, bread, and alcohol.

Lift 3-4 days per week. Walk 10,000 steps per day minimum.

230 is a good intermediate goal, but I suggest closer to 190-195 as a long term goal.

I'm thinking if I go into the stomach it can help with the elbows and then some other nagging issues like lower back. I'm OK taking a few weeks.
The half life of bpc 157 is pretty short and the liver and kidneys clear it from the body pretty quickly. Stomach acid breaks it down as well and bio availability of oral bpc157 is low. At least according to what I’ve seen.

I think for it to truly have a chance to work you need to inject near the affected area and dose pretty frequently.

I’m not an expert. Just looked into it to see if I wanted to try it.

Do you think we can advance in the next 100 years as much as we did in the last 100 years?

We will never know…. Probably

worry about longevity.
Strength training and muscle mass are key to longevity. As for potentially modifying the ways in which one trains strength and builds muscle so as to make injury avoidance a primary consideration, I think around 45 or 50, if not earlier. At 45 or 50, a major joint injury is difficult to come back 100% from and the time lost in strength and muscle building is likely not going to be recovered.

I think it's as good a plan as any. He's the best Auburn coach in history, anyone who follows will probably struggle. Hiring the guy groomed for the job who has been doing a ton of the work during Auburn's rise makes sense.
I hope this is true, but I think a better plan would be to go hire a proven name while AU basketball is an attractive job.
Please be another AU story Pete Thamel gets wrong!!!!!

about $5000 to not go into eviction
Probably just delays the process a few months. There is a root issue in almost every scenario like this that $5,000 won’t fix.

Also, you will no longer be friends if you loan him the money. He won’t pay you back and then will avoid you because he knows he isn’t going to pay you back.

Letting him fail/get evicted, is likely better for him in the long run. Give him a temporary place to stay after he gets evicted and help him with his root problem.
Are you his primary guardian? If not, it’s going to be difficult to have enough influence over his diet.

Body weight exercises focusing on form are probably the first step. Need to really make it fun for him at this age. Make a game or competition of it, with some reward tied to it.

Are his parents healthy/fit? If not, trying to influence their behaviors would likely be a greater help to your grandson than anything else.
