I tend to agree but you never know how a player will develop. Chambliss got beat out at the D II level and faked a illness and ended being one of the best QB's at the FBS level 2 years later.

Exactly
But something like this can be avoided. New rule, if a ball hits the roof it is automatically dead and the game continues. A ball isn't given a strike isn't given, game continues as if it never happened. That is the only way to fairly treat that situation. IMO that is a fair way to treat it because that situation happens so rarely.

Every other coached in America had to deal with the same thing. Some more and others to a lesser degree. O failed in how he handled it and mostly in how he failed to properly replace assistants.

I did similar. Left my seats in 412. Had enough time in the chaos to make it outside where that day there was a big bus set up right outside the gate close to the Jet that had a big screen with the game on. Saw the last play and felt zero joy. I was just as pissed off as it we never won. Never felt like that after a game before or after.

It would funny as hell. Look Wade is a damn good coach but the games he is playing makes no sense and are stupid. It is actually highly disrespectful to LSU basketball fans but most of his worshippers just eat it up.
