Earth has had at least five ice ages. By definition, you can't have another ice age unless global warming has occurred in between the ice ages. So yes, there is global warning: however, it's not man-made. It's nature
My eminent geology professor stated in class once " as long as it snows each winter and the poles have ice on them then the Ice Age is not over".
And I agree with him.

This current legislature reminds me of the Louisiana of 1927.
Mostly dirt roads with no indoor plumbing, very little electricity ,and hardly no bridges.
Instead of progressing into the Future it sure feels like we are regressing in overdrive.

I remember when I was a wee lad my parents were driving back to baton rouge from Ellick on a Sunday night.
We stopped at the Canal gas station in Krotz Springs for some pop (soft drink) and gas.
When my Dad pressed the Dr.Pepper button on the machine a whole herd of mosquitos came out of the flap before the can did !

No, keep him in the Navy, there is tons of rust that needs sanding before repainting is done on the ships .

re: WSJ: How Hydrogen, the Fuel of the Future, Got Bogged Down in the Bayou

Ghasemi got his undergraduate degree from the Abadan Institute of Technology in Iran, where the “purpose of that school was to train people who knew enough about the refinery to become future managers,” Ghasemi told Fortune. He then left Iran in 1966 to earn his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University before marrying his New Yorker wife, Ellen
If he really has a master's in Mechanical Engineering then he should be fully aware of the difficulties in handling/storage of Hydrogen gas.
There is a good reason why you don't see cars and trucks using hydrogen gas as a fuel source. You just can't put it in a fuel tank like diesel or gasoline. Hydrogen is the smallest atom and under pressure it will pass through thin walled steel tanks. To hold it in storage under pressure it requires a thick walled steel tank which is heavy. To store more in a such a tank it has to be chilled to a low temp and this drives up the cost even more. In a crash it is more likely to explode much easier than gasoline.
It is more difficult for the public to fill up with at a service station than typical gasoline, and one tiny spark can blow up an entire Race Trac.
Someone lost a ton of money on this project/scam.
Also I once thought that these Ivy League types to be super smart. I guess many of us were fooled.

I would argue that they don't.
I can't imagine me traveling to some one horse town in china and demanding that I have rights there.
