Why are ‘less intelligent’ people more likely to have a loud car/truck?

Intelligence and a vehicle’s muffled volume seems to be an inverse relationship.

Telltale indicator of a micro penis.

I thought this would be about Challengers and Chargers

How else will I call attention to the truck nuts dangling in between my dual exhaust mufflers?

Defeated, powerless people like to make boom-boom noises to remind us they exist.

I’ve noticed this with COVID maskers as well: the less intelligent seem to be very enthusiastic maskers.

I don't understand it, it reminds me of the South Park episode about motorcycle riders.
Do they really think other people are like, "yeah, that sounds so cool"?

How else do they get people to notice them?

It’s like social media….trying to get the Look at me!

They also seem to like to drive with the windows down and weave in and out of traffic

Basically this
It's a combination of rejecting norms and being annoying for attention (separating themselves from regular culture) and mimicking rich people in their unintelligent interpretation of materialism of the wealthy. That's why the same people buy old Mercs, BMws, and, nowadays Maserati.

Couldn’t you save a ton of money buying an old POS car? I watch those like a hawk because I’m terrified they are uninsured and keep my distance. I pay way more attention to them than a Charger or squatted 1500.

I have long held the opinion that the amount of noise that anyone can bear undisturbed stands in inverse proportion to his mental capacity and therefore be regarded as a pretty fair measure of it.

Wrong. High testosterone is linked to being smart. Look at Joe rogan and Neil degrasse Tyson they’re jacked. Everybody knows that the louder your truck the more testosterone you have. That’s why soys and women vote democrat

Well, they always have their Instagram handle on their windows too

They don’t feel seen in every day life so their solution to that is to be louder and force people to notice them. Negative attention is better than no attention.

I hate anything that is not stock from the manufacturer. The only exception might be some better tires with thicker tread.

What if you own a vintage muscle car with pretty loud exhaust? Does that make you dumb?

If you annoy others with it, yes.
