Somewhere there is a Venn diagram including 100$, loose vs lose, and "I seen" people.

I wouldn’t know which to bet on (or against).

I’d hate to loose 100$.

Putting something up for “sell” easily beats both of those.

Came here to say this, and the amount of people that don't know the difference is alarming.

I have a bigger problem with things like ion and nie.

Don’t make me try to interpret your written dialect.

Here’s what’s even dumber. Those that use “impact” because they are too dumb to know when to use “effect” vs “affect”. “Impact” does work but it’s extremely overused nowadays.

It reminds me of 1984 when they are working to shrink the dictionary.

There’s a practically endless supply of similar errors on TD every day. You surely don’t have to limit it to these two.

True. The number of grammatical errors is staggering with misspelled words, wrong tenses being used, punctuation missing, run-on sentences, etc.

Firstly, you could have typed that much better...took me several reads to understand what you were saying. So careful with those stones and glass houses and all that.

That being said, lose/loose is far dumber. At least with someone writing 100$, they are likely just writing it as it is spoken (which is still stupid just less stupid). But lose/loose are actually two different words with completely different meanings. So that's just idiocy.

As bad as putting the $ behind the amount looks, they can’t hold a candle to the idiots that put % before the number.

I get a kick out of the people who misuse sale/sell both ways in the same listing.

Even dumber than that are the guys like you that think if a 25 year old cuts out Starbucks for a year they will have a down payment for a house.

It is the “dominate” people when they mean “dominant”.
