Fast Forwarding during TV series

Posted by CartmansMom on 7/26/26 at 10:06 am
Does anyone else do this?

I started doing it on a rewatch of Breaking Bad to get through the Marie and other pointless side stories. Now I do it in new shows that I watch and I'm loving it.

I feel like a lot of shows are 2 or 3 episodes too long. Recently I watched Friends and Neighbors season 2 and fast forwarded through the entire funeral episode and sauna scenes and don't feel like I missed a single thing

Thanks pal now my duck pond is dry

If your duck pond is drying up, the best solution depends on why it's losing water.

If it's leaking: Check the liner for holes or tears. Small punctures can often be repaired with a patch kit. If it's a clay-bottom pond, it may need to be re-compacted or resealed with bentonite clay.

If it's evaporating: In hot weather, ponds can lose a surprising amount of water. Adding a water source such as a hose, well, or rainwater collection system can help keep the level up. Providing shade also reduces evaporation.

If it's not getting enough runoff: You may need to redirect rainwater into the pond with swales or drainage channels, or enlarge the watershed feeding it (while avoiding contaminated runoff).

If the pond is shallow: Dredging or excavating it deeper can help it hold water longer through dry periods.

If groundwater has dropped: This is harder to fix. Some landowners install a well to supplement the pond, if local regulations and water availability allow.

If the pond has gone completely dry, it's also a good time to inspect the bottom for cracks, animal burrows (such as from muskrats or crawfish), or other signs of leaks before refilling.

Can you tell me:

About how large is the pond?

Is it a natural pond or one with a liner?

Did it dry out suddenly or gradually over time?

$12.50

Did you hit a matinee? That's cheap.

Yes. There is at least one scene in The Wire where a character is seen wearing an LSU (Louisiana State University) T-shirt. It's a brief background wardrobe detail rather than something important to the plot, but fans have spotted it over the years.

Given the show's Baltimore setting, it's not highlighted or explained—it's just one of many real-world college and sports shirts worn by characters throughout the series.

If you're thinking of a specific character or episode, let me know who or roughly when, and I can help identify the exact scene.

Some of y'all need to embrace the Artificial Intelligence
Mara sisters have an interesting background. They come from big money on both sides of the family. Mothers side founded the Pittsburgh Steelers and fathers side the New York Giants.
Hopefully the show is better that that trailer. Oooofff
Just sell it yourself, it's really not as hard as some people are making it sound. Don't play around with people, you have to have backbone. Tell them your firm price before they come see it and ONLY deal in cash or venmo, zelle etc.
I feel like it's way more wide spread in Cali. In illinois Chicago runs the entire state. Outside Chicago it's mostly a bunch of good ol baws that hate Chicago
I listened to this podcast today. Dude speaks like a white guy except when he says tacos. Pandering piece of shite, they will never learn over there.

Good place to grab some oysters while the line across the street at acme the mile long.
Yeah I would go with that one. Just avoid Samsung. During COVID when I was laid off I use to buy broken dishwashers and fix them for resell. Samsungs are incredibly un reliable and hard to work on.
I would just replace it. No need to throw parts at a 20 year old DW. Just don't buy a bottom of the barrel model. Bosch is a solid brand and quiet.

Just because she came here over 20 years ago, doesn't mean the world hasn't changed. 20+ years ago we weren't taking them in at the pace we have been now, and they didn't have as many options to abuse Visas as they do now.

Not hating on for marrying an immigrant. I'm done with white women too, they are the real problem. If the influx was 80% female, I don't think any of us would complain about it anymore.
I'm not advocating for illegal immigration, or legal immigration. It all needs to stop. But your post is hilarious lol. Complaining about immigrants while you're married to one. The irony.
NO IMMiGrANts!!!!!! Except mine!!!! No MoAr!!!!!!!
Have you ever driven in actual big cities like Denver? You would beg for Baton Rouge traffic after that.

After the first episode, I'm interested. Does it get better? Worse?

I watched the first 2 episodes. I'm enjoying so far. 2nd episode is similar to the first, more running not much story development but still pretty good.

Thought this was on MGM? I can't keep up with all these services, need some serious consolidation.
