Where are they in total player compensation when you add rev share and NIL?
i didnt say anything about NIL, i said rev share and its not as easy as they auto get NIL and it gets approved.
and i know NIL is funding most of the roster, thats the issue Jay has spoken about
dunno why yall are getting mad at me. Jay is the one that has talked about it.

I’d like to see a citation on this, rev share is capped for every university this year at $20.5 million and I’ve read that 15 of 16 SEC schools are using the widely discussed 75/15/5/5 distribution model, with MSU being an exception. That would mean 15 of 16 SEC schools have the same player revenue share, including LSU.
you are correct but that last 5 is not going strictly to baseball
that is split between Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Golf, Track and Field, Gymnastics, Swimming etc.
now baseball is getting a lot of that but not all.
now direct quotes from Jay himself
quote:
"The rules have literally changed every single year in some way, shape or form with that. I'm very thankful for the people that have contributed to LSU baseball. You can't survive without them," Johnson said. "But with the rule changes with NIL, with revenue sharing, it's a different issue now. It's important that LSU continues to make baseball a priority and continues to invest on that side of revenue sharing. It's a little bit more like the big leagues. Do you want to be the Dodgers or do you want to be a small market team? Schools are going to decide what kind of sports that they want to be good in."
quote:
"I think one thing that in this new landscape that helps us a little bit is this stadium's full capacity. You know 500,000 people come through it on a yearly basis. So. The players have a marketing value, there's actually a marketing value to them. They have the highest social media following on all the platforms," Johnson said.
"My hope is that the people and the school continue to give us the chance to be successful."

quote:
Johnson noted that other programs are choosing to be "all in" on baseball funding, and he explicitly stated, "We need to be one of those schools. We're not there yet".
from AI talking about it
not fully funding the 34 and continuing to fund more sports than other schools out of the 5% is the main thing i am talking about.

Baseball not getting money is GREATLY overstated.
rev share money did not go to build the weight room. LSU has caught up and is at the top of the game for player facilities. Still couple things they are missing like a full hitters launchpad and proteus motion machines but this, the locker room along with hiring Chris were huge huge steps
quote:
I understand that other schools are starting to put more funds toward baseball, but Jay had PLENTY of money to build this roster.
bottom 3rd of the SEC in Rev share. no they are not getting what they need to be top of the SEC in terms of roster talent.

Any 2028, 2029 and 2030 Louisiana kids to keep an eye on?
2028 i know of the sam houston kids, mainly Brock Blessington who is ranked #1 right now in the state. Also the Dufrene kid from JC and Conley kid from the Fountainblue
2029 I know of the two barbe kids and they are legit AF. Especially Zaylon, he has been hurt but will be back soon. was up to 91.2 in the fall and is very very young for the class. Talon moved from Texas, he will be an absolute stud when said and done.
Also the Davis and Dugas kids are dudes.
This is a very very good in state class and is still trending that away. Very similar to the 2027 class, maybe not quite as top heavy.
2030 is kind of too early right now as the pbr state rankings have not been released yet. Not the strongest class in state but has pockets. PG released their initial rankings and I dont have access to the full top 100 but in the top 50 no louisiana kids.
But Tyler Early, who lives in the Tomball area, is ranked #1 and he grew up in Alexandria area and moved when he was 11 to houston area.
The best two kids in state I know of right now are Chayse Frierson, huge kid, very very young but tons of upside. Parents and brothers are very tall and he is already up to 83-84 as a 13 year old 8th grader.
The other is Ayden Barnes from Alexandria area, very very smooth fielder and good bat. Not overwhelming on the physical side but as of now is the most skilled player in state that i have seen.
Texas has an outstanding 2030 class. If we can snag a few....we will be looking very good.
2031 class is a monster in state though and is trending to be the deepest class in years but they are still only 13 in 7th grade but this has been the deepest class across the state at all age levels for a while and has held true for years now.
one thing to keep in mind about 2030 and 2031....they are still very young, anything can happen. What looks very strong on paper, can disappear in 2-3 years. honestly same with 2029.

I mean-lazy and incompetent is part of it. I think you’re generalizing things, though. What are other things you’re talking about?
im talking in general but in this specific case....why any competent doctor would push xyosted over generic cypionate. even if you liked your customers enanthate there is the brand name Delatestryl
not to mention with just goodrx and no insurance-
basic generic testosterone enanthate available for $32/5ml
test cyp is $48 per 10ml vial
so again why would a doctor randomly push a medication when obviously they know very little about it, there is no benefit and its more expensive?

well then why are doctors pushing shite like this without doing their own research? are they that lazy, incompetent or just don't give a frick and push it because they like the rep?

I was thinking about giving an actual response, but I just couldn’t get past that fricking “sportsball” word. Not only does he not even want a real response, he doesn’t deserve the thought that would go into crafting one. What a fricking douche canoe.
But I will respond to you and the other posters in a similar stage of life. When I was 10-18 or so, any LSU football loss would ruin my entire week. Any Braves postseason series loss would probably ruin my month. But the losses have progressively gotten more tolerable with age. Especially after having kids.
In my mid 40s now, and the losses don’t bother me at all really. I still enjoy the big wins. Get positive feelings from those. But losses? Basically just an “oh well. On to the next.
yep, in my early 20s LSU football was everything. Now...if we win...awesome, usually lifts my mood but i dont have the time or energy to let a loss affect me.
In my 40s with 3 sons all doing their own thing....yea I dont have time for that shite.
like you said...i still enjoy the games, especially the big wins but im not getting anxiety over things like many do.

I know he's a '27, but Jordin Griffin appears to be having a much better season (purely based on twitter clips) as a junior.
lol yea you could say that, he is batting well over 400 and ton of homeruns and honestly, the south wind that blows in from right field at barbe and sulphur has cost him at least 5 homeruns. in the first game against SH in Sulphur there was a 25-30 mph wind and both balls he hit would have been out without the wind.
i still think he ends up at lsu just because of height. But bat speed, throwing velo and overall speed are off the charts. Really really good kid too.
I dont let it affect my mood at all, at least negatively.
but do you know how I know you are gay and suck a good dick?

Barbe sweeps Sam Houston going 3-0 in regular season against them winning 8-1 last night at Sam Houston
Sulphur stays hot and beats Lafayette 8-7 last night
south beau beat westlake 4-2 monday night
St Louis beat Jennings monday night
most teams will be wrapping the regular season over the next 7-10 days
right now Sulphur sits at 5, Sam Houston at 4. So next 10 days is huge for sulphur. Figure out a way to win 3 of 4 from Barbe and SH and you are a top 4 seed no matter what. SH can secure it with 2 wins over sulphur
in Div 3 a lot will be decided on both select and non select side by the 3-3A tournament which is the SWLA area district. They have a tournament at the end of the season to determine the champion.
If St louis can win it, that would be big as that prolly means wins over westlake and south beau prolly putting them as the 4 seed on the D3S side. If Westlake or South Beau win it, they secure a top 4 seed and if they meet in the finals, good chance they remain #3 & #4 in the power rankings.
non select Power rankings

The product is marketed by Inizio Engage reps. Contract pharma reps. Kickbacks are illegal and that’s not the way pharma works. At all. They found some clinical trial and trying to make a buck on the data that says it’s in your system longer than test cyp. I personally take test cyp and wouldn’t take Xyosted.
But there’s clinical data somewhere that shows an advantage.
To answer your question-It’s there to make a buck for the company. Doctors do not get paid for writing prescriptions. That world does not exist anymore.
testosterone enanthate has been around for 50 years....we know there is no advantage so you answered the question.....the doctor is incompetent.

Affordability? Nope. Deportations? Slowing and a mess. War? We’re in one.
whatever
i can tell you my life is better now than it was under biden and i can say with confidence I have won under every admin and i will win no matter who is in power
but if the save act passes, democrats will not win.
cool its in place...let me know when it can go work on it in the field.
Im just using a car as an example.

yep...power outage will hamper those types of things
ill worry when a robot can go and remove the motor from a car and rebuild it on the spot. until then....just makes my life easier.

of course....americans love to kick the can down the road and never want to tackle a problem now if it cost them money
but seriously....who gives a frick? he is less than half way through his term & if he wraps up the iran thing & gets prices down....the mid terms will be fine.
and in the end the current dem candidates dont stand a chance and if they pass the save act, dems are done for a long time.

yall way way over estimate how much yall think AI will do

i think you have this backwards, at least in my understanding
conversion therapy is the therapist and doctors essentially discouraging teens and their parents from going through with any type of hormone therapy or surgery.
or at the least its them telling the patients what all it entails.
Conversion therapy is NOT trying to get people to become trans, its the OPPOSITE
now i could have it backwards too but I think i am right and understanding correctly.

Doctors are not getting kickbacks from prescribing a branded drug. This is an ignorant and false claim.
ok then explain to me like im 5 why they would prescribe a branded drug for 1 extra day of half life and that is also available as a generic?
so its either they are dumb or getting a kick back. there is no other possible scenario.
so which is it? incompetence or corruption?

Don’t forget it’s what Rousse, Schroyer, and Wade already did at McNeese, also. On a smaller scale than LSU, sure, but they did it there. They know the formula. They have a history of success. Bright days ahead for LSU.
100%
while Dr Rousse was at McNeese before he became president, he was VP and oversaw them increase the McNeese Foundation by over 30%, then became president of the university and didnt just stop the 15 year decline of McNeese enrollment but increased it by over 10%
people forget he was a very successful business man and then an economist before going into academics once he built his wealth.
he is a great guy too with tons of passion and energy, its contagious when you are around him. He is a home run hirer.
Schroyer will do well too, especially in the role he is in where the spot light wont be on him so much. Say whatever you want about the dude but he will work his arse off and will do whatever it takes to raise funds to get what they coaches need and want.
