re: Testosterone Replacement Therapy - lsu777
Was at 76 Ng/dl before, in the 700-800 range now with free at the top of the range. Yes it has been worth it, been on for 5 years now. Still sucks after years though crunching through scar tissue even with rotating the sites all over. No side effects other than scar tissue in the legs some. ...

re: Why is there no Little League in Baton Rouge? - lsu777
I don't see AA being anything like league. I had kids in league until this past season and AA is essentially all stars. AAA is a huge step up and majors is stupid competitive. I was an extreme travel ball hater until I gave in this past year. Everything about it is better if you find a good team...

re: Looking for weight recs for a teenage girl. - lsu777
I only like rings because you can do more on them. Some movements are better on TRX due to the single anchor point. Rows are a perfect example, shoulder "Y's" etc. Essentially any movement that you pull the handles apart are better with TRX suspension systems that are single anchor point. Exe...

[link=(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0832T4G82/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_h-XbFb7JZZVGT)]LINK[/link] This would give you all the benifits of the wooden rings plus the ability to do the foot straps like TRX. Take a 2*8 and cut it 84". Mark and drill 2 holes to counter sink lag bolts, 2" from one end. S...

Not even going to argue with him, I understand what the OP said and made recommendations based on that, doesn't mean barbell work still isn't ideal lol. OP, didn't realize your daughter worked out in clothes like that, like I said, I have all boys so I prolly don't get it. I wouldn't let my daugh...
Get her a pair of the powerblock sport adjustable dumbbells and glute bands I don’t think barbell work for a young 100lb female is ideal
There are really no situations where barbell work is not ideal  even 7 & 8 year olds, assuming they are taught properly...

While I agree, I also couldn't imagine checking out a 16-year-old, also only have all boys so maybe I don't get it. Although I think that would probably be the best option for his kid I do understand reluctance even if it is based on insecurities on his part. Given the situation a nice silly m...

re: I’m honestly inquiring. What’s the point of going to the beach? - lsu777
Well I try and take the family every year as we all enjoy it. I see you like putting down the beach and Disney...what vacations do you feel are enjoyable for kids under 10? I have 3 boys 9/7/4, sure a trip to the grand canyon is fun for a few minutes, but overall it's not something they are goin...

Trx is not over complicated, but just get her a nice ceiling mounted pull up bar and a set of rings. Sending her to a good CrossFit gym would be best and if she is in high school it really is age appropriate, but you are the father and know your kids best. If you don't want to do, frick what anyo...

re: Jim Wendler is welcoming new members to his private forum - lsu777
Well I know he has been laid up with back problems so prolly wants to revive it since he has more time on his hands. It never does he just spent most of his time coaching the London hs football kids so he didn't post as much as he did in the past Don't think with his book and apparal sales he ...

Wouldn't say dated, but most of the info is in the forever book. But he has a decade of little nuggets on there that you can comb thru. The top sticky thread in strength has tons of links to great threads. He doesn't really do articles anymore so that is all dead. ...
These are essentially kids getting shot and killed. They aren’t 30-40 year olds who know better. It’s high schoolers.
Wtf?? Bro, in high school you know better than to be in that kind of place. Hell my 10 year old does. Sorry but they should surround the place and not let anyone ou...

re: My experience with intermittent fasting - lsu777
But how sure are you that it’s OMAD and fasting that is responsible and not simply the weight loss and dedication to fitness?
Well the omad is allowing him to consistently stay in a caloric deficit over time and which is causing the weight loss. I love intermittent fasting an...
