I usually go straight to the wine upon entering, making an immediate hard left by the TVs. It's quieter that way.

Ugh...the worst.

I usually just ignore them, but if somehow eye contact and approach is made, I just give a pleasant, "nah" and keep walking.

This thread is damn funny though. It's always pissed me off that Sam's and Costco do this to customers. No one wants to deal with these people, to the point we can have 5 pages of ways to avoid them

This reminds me. Have y'all seen the people sometimes outside of grocery stores trying to get you to donate to an organization that supposedly is related to teen suicide?

Talk about a way to pressure people! I feel like such an arse saying I'm not interested in preventing TEEN SUICIDE, but..

I tell them "I got att cell and internet and give a thumbs up and keep going"

If a Cox salesman I tell them "I have Cox and gigablast" and give a thumbs up and keep going.

Any other answer and they will talk to you.

Direct eye contact.
Smile and nod.
Turn head and walk towards the back.

It's an art.

I’m getting older so I just point to my ear like I don’t have my hearing aid.

I actually signed up for plan at Costco. Was cheaper than Verizon, and the perks (new upgrade every year and $300 in Costco Cards for my 3 lines) made it worth it. I almost always blow off such marketing offers. Glad I listened.

This happened Saturday. I panicked and said, "I don't have a cell phone," and she immediately looked at the rectangular outline in my shorts.

Your response should have been "My eyes are up here miss"

I tried this one time, and my phone rang loud as shite against my ear.

What are the odds?

The AT&T guy asked me what types of speeds I was getting with T-Mobile. I didn't know, and he told me he gets around 150 Mbps so he ran a speed test, sure enough 150+. I did a speed test...600. He said..."uh..well...have a good one."

Funny.

But if you ever need to switch service, do it at Costco. I made $4000 switching to Verizon last year.

When we go to Sam's, my kids get a slice of pizza and I usually go walk around electronics with my son in the basket. The conversation with T-Mobile usually goes like this.

Them: Hey man, how's it going?

Me: Good(while turning my back and walking away)

I listen to every sales pitch. I’ve changed 4 times in last 2 months. Saved about $350.
