I scream “Don’t touch me there you creep” as loud as I can. That solves the problem pretty quickly for everybody.

I walk by and ignore. If they step in front, I say I'm not interested. If they continue after that, I firmly tell them to frick off and leave me alone, because it's my goddamn time they are attempting to steal.
I've become more polite in my initial dealings with people, and a far bigger a-hole when I need to "re-engage".

I stared one down without saying anything and that set him into a spiral. He was yelling at me as I walked away. 
I hate that Costco knowingly lets their members be harassed by these people.

They must pay Costco a ton for the right to harass all the customers basically at the entrance, 2nd most aggravating thing at Costco,..number 1 is the removal of the hand scanner at the self checkouts
